I'm a little surprised at where they are storing the train as you can see the upper portion of the engines and the coal cars enough to make out what they are when you exit the sound stage houses at HHN. I did not break out the camera or anything and they do have the fence covered...but you can see over the fence a bit as you take that long walk from exiting CitW and AWiL towards the queue for ED.

So, I guess this is all internal hiring at this point? I would think they will start out with people who know the drill.

Oooh... the "looking" eyes. Hmmm, sounds like entertainment training of some kind, or perhaps ride ops. Either that or the employees are working Hogsmeade until such time...

The guy I talked to at the showcase didn't seem to mind new internal hires (new as in new to ride ops or merch, etc.). I told him I've only worked at HHN and he still seemed interested in hiring. They do, however, want to see someone with a true love for the series and an abundance of Potter knowledge but that goes without saying.

About that picture: Turns out I thought it would look better than it did, but hey..

Technically, if he took those photos by just holding his camera up to a point where it can see over the wall, then i think it would be fine to post here.

Here it is, remove if necessary. This channel also has a nice over the wall vid of Seven Dwarves coaster.

^ Thanks for posting! Is that a retaining wall next to grimmauld? It suggests to me a possible substantial berm. Any thoughts on this from users here in the construction biz?

Hummm....it looks as if the park was empty...could that video be something "internally" done?

Sorry for the blurriness... I just got these as we were walking by, and didn't really set up the shots or hang around too long as I was in full HHN mode.

It could have been resort guest early entry, but since nothing back there is open for that (that I'm aware of), it makes sense that no one else would be back there.

Sure is a retaining wall. Not sure why it's there though. I'll see what I can find out.

Thanks for the pics Frank and Felipe.

So, the keystone brickwork has been either applied or sculpted in place. It also implies that the brick will be painted. I am stymied why they are going this route. (others in the biz are also stymied, I assure you)

It implies to me that they are going to pile the earth very high to the right of grimmauld and beyond towards the old fear factor theater. We have been wondering why they would leave a huge chunk of Diagon exposed in this area. Perhaps it will not be exposed after all. It implies a "mean" and very steep berm if so. Fully planted in, guests won't be able to see s-h-i-t-a-k-e mushrooms.

PS: Teebin LOVES theme park berms...

Sure, I like a berm, and it's the only thing that makes sense right now, but a berm in this London / urban setting? :inquisitive:

Now I know this is a hill and not a berm... but just pointing out that London has high spots and low. Berms are merely a way to creatively hide the backstage.
