Im no insider by any means, but here is what I know...

Twister gets high satisfaction ratings, presumably mostly from tourists

Shrek is still a highly marketable IP for the park to have

Terminator was originally slated to be demo'd for Transformers; its only saving grace being that TF wouldnt have fit in that plot

Some show thats not Beetlejuice is almost definitely on its way out.

I think Terminator is on the chopping block next...as much as I would absolutely HATE that, it seems to make the most sense, unless Universal decides to bat one out of left field and take down one of their bigger rides. However, keep in mind that its clearly a smaller space than Transformers, which is in itself pretty small comparatively speaking. So what Universal can put there is limited to either another show or a smaller ride, most likely using 3-D.

My guesses were definitely Shrek or T-2. I love T-2 though and while I'm not big on Shrek, if its gonna go, I could see it getting replaced/torn down and maybe relocated?

T2 is still pretty popular and I would be very sad if Mummy was ripped out. I wouldn't mind an overlay, but I don't want to lose that coaster. Same with MIB. It's an insanely fun ride, but I wouldn't be upset if there was an overlay.

I agree, just saying if an attraction outside of Disaster is on the block it has to be one of those. We know Potter, Transformers, Despicable Me and Simpsons are not going anywhere.

A ton of stuff is on the radar right now... you have no idea. I just received word of something else going the way of the dodo in the next 6-10 months... I have never seen cobwebs cleaned out so quickly. Daunting.

Could it be the same rumor i just heard on the Parkscope podcast about the front entrance getting a redo?

Was I not on this episode? If I had to guess, that was a hope/dream, not a legitimate rumor. As far as I know we haven't heard anything about a project like that

I'm binge listening to them and I'm already on 2.5, I'll get there soon. But yeah T2, disaster or fear factor seem like pretty good possibilities. It's pretty obvious ET and shrek are staying though. I think shrek is far from the chopping block

If the new Terminator is a success I have a feeling something based on the new franchise will replace T2.

I mean i guess it all depends on what they have planned. I would say the only reason MIB would leave would be if their intent is to use the space next to it. Its a great attraction that has nothing wrong with it. I feel like FFL would stay because its a stage/if they need it for any random purpose...as stupid as it is.

I'm not sure what it would be. And he said "something else", does that automatically imply a ride?

Would it be feasible to relocate MIB to a different area of the park to allow the room in the back corner?

At that point they would just tear it down or gut thw building. I dont see them taking the effort to move something. Mib isnt in the way to thay expansion pad though. Just tear down that old weird coke mister crap ans u have a nice sized entrance to whatever they want to build.

This makes me very sad. That theater has provided me with way too many happy moments. If this is true where would B&T live on?

No idea, nor do I think Universal at large cares much. They'll find a place for it when the time comes.

The health/prosperity of the resort year-round is the main focus, not HHN

Really? Geeez, they are going to tear down north, east, south and west all at once at this rate. East is all that is left at this point and if they start on the kiddy area, then all bets are off.

They're starting on the kiddie area around HHN time. I'm 99% sure on that one. We had heard before, but now I'm hearing after.

FFL is another story, but I'm confident it will be a construction site by early/mid 2015 at the latest.

Obviously and they would be insane not to have the normal operations outweigh HHN. The theater is one of the most nostalgic areas in the park to me, and B&T one of my favorite things about HHN. Like Teebin said, this is a whole lot of construction to have in the works. I can't even imagine all of the different things they have planned.

I love Bill and Ted a lot, don't get me wrong. But the plans for that area will be great, and they can shoehorn that show somewhere else if need be. The work in KidZone will be interesting. HHN will have to get creative in the coming years to keep the event running smoothly/neatly. Very creative.

Any chance you can go into detail about specific timelines regarding the existing IP's affected?

By IPs do you mean existing attractions?

Everything besides ET and Animal Actors is out the door
