Because some people thought it was just one train track and one train going back and forth, hence why I had to show visually what I thought it should be.

Ah, I see. That has to be how it would work. The other way would be an even bigger nightmare.

If Universal can create a people eating machine like the FJ which ONLY accommodates 4 riders max per vehicle I think there up to the challenge.

A lot of what I would say has already been said. Too much Potter. You can take Jaws (regrettably) or you can have Lost Continent. Take your pick, please.

I don't like this habit of taking down potentially two attractions for one silly, capacity-nightmare train. Islands and Studios need ADDITIONAL attractions on their roster to fill out their days (so one-day commando trips are no longer feasibly possible). Stop tearing stuff out to put new stuff in when you have room to expand on what's there! (I was under the impression the new area in Jaws would have at least two queued attractions, which would be a technical improvement. If the train knocks out Sinbad or Poseidon or both, it's defeated its purpose.)

Ideal situation at this point? Lost Continent will be expanded Potter, Jaws will be Middle Earth.

I can dream.

FJ has nothing to do with the logistics of creating a mass transportation system like this train would be. Unless it's only going to be something like a people mover, it's going to be a nightmare.

Other way around would be preferable.

But the train won't knock out PF and Sinbad.

Actually, yeah, now that I think about it. Universal would get its two parks with Potter (which makes geographical sense), we get Middle Earth. I'm not super familiar with the fiction of Lord of the Rings (shame on me I know), but I assume the setting would be something like The Shire with one or two attractions?

If they can squeeze in the train without knocking down Poseidon or Sinbad (with new attractions replacing each of those), I'll be pleased.

I'd like to see it become Rivendell, which is an Elven city.

I don't see why the Train Station couldn't be in a currently unused backstage portion.

I think you pretty much said it yourself, we don't know exactly what its going to be. SO AS I SAID, if they can create something that can plow through crowds I think they deserve the opportunity to show us what they have up there sleeve.

Just when they got the water vortex working again! It's a good attraction, but like some, a little dated. I'm curious to see what they're going to do with the whole Lost Continent land in general with a potential Potter 2.0, Jaws closing etc... Lot of interesting stuff in the mix sounds like, but knowing Universal, I'm sure it's bound to be glorious, current and thrilling.

Its an attraction with probably the most grand facade with the most lackluster attraction held inside.

Agreed. It's very different, and could be something awesome....but it's cheesy as hell and not really impressive.
