Hello I’m new here on this forum and thread but I have to say I think the Addams Family might be the horror adjacent property. It has both a show and movies

Penn & Teller say hi.

Seriously, are people in this fandom ever just gonna get over her *almost* previous involvement and move on??

As divisive as Eilish is part of the clue. The only one hung up on starting sh- over this aspect of the speculation is you. Likely cause you’re an Eilish fan.

Time for another...

Psych. It's a great comedic series on Peacock about a private detective who pretends to be psychic solving murders with his partner, and it has plenty of moments where it gets genuinely unsettling. It also currently has three movies, with two more on the way.

Going back to the popular enough to headline and horror adjacent:

It matters how we describe the GP and niche...Korean dramas are niche but Squid Games is part of the speculation right for HHN despite falling under a niche category because it happened to be a highly watched show.

So it doesn't necessarily mean cult classics/anime should get cut out if its generally known and talked about...(google trends). Remember Chucky was a cult classic that then became a very popular show last year.

Additionally with it being in the film/television category that even more limiting than anything else.

I'm gonna put my money though on this IP because its Horror Adjacent, its Universal,, and it was one of the most watched shows for Universal.

Resident Alien.

I was thinking about Resident Alien a few days ago. I don't consider it to be horror-adjacent. It's mostly a drama and comedy series.

It's more horror based than Netflix''s You and Rick and Morty which also seems to be a contender in speculation.

Those two properties were ruled out as possibilities by Legacy. Resident Alien is not more horror-based than those two. All three are pretty much equal when it comes to horror themes.

Do you not read anything you type about her at all before you hit Post Reply or are you still just that bitter she was almost included that you don’t care??

Obviously I’m very well aware that as “divisive as Eilish” is part of said clue that you’re trying to find the answer for that you’re not going to get officially until months from now. However what is not part of said clue are your deeply misogynistic comments negating her success, claiming her inclusion was the furthest thing from Halloween and horror when you should know well enough that’s wrong, etc., etc., etc. since. day. one. What I’m hung up on is constantly having intervene over your petty snide remarks. I am a fan and even I’m sick of talking about her here—yet you’re obviously not and you still can’t help yourself from stoking the flames, so if anyone is starting anything you should probably take a long, hard look at yourself in the mirror and, also, what you’re typing before you hit Post Reply.

If Comcast wasn't busy being successful they would have bought Fox when they had the chance

Now I know Disney has tower of terror which might make this impossible, but could Universal do a Twilight Zone house?

I'd rather them do Hitchcock to be totally honest.

Also, with DHS right down the road, I'd bet on them never doing that

Didn't the Demon Slayer movie make 503 million dollars at the box office, making it the highest-grossing film of 2020? It's both a movie and a TV show, a sequel anime was just announced, it's widely popular (whether y'all want to admit it or not), and it's horror adjacent. It's clear the IP has a good relationship with the Universal company due to the merch sold in the parks and the attraction in Japan. And based on the reaction I've seen on the forum to it, it's clearly something that would be very divisive in the community. There are obviously other options as to what it could be but c'mon, it checks all the boxes.

I absolutely loved Dead Man's Wharf and would love to see them revisit a similar concept. Maybe this is the year we finally get a house based around the famous Pirate Baird O'Connell

Some people might think that a pirate theme may be trite for a haunted house, but has HHN even tackled a pirate house yet? I know they did the Forsaken but that’s the closest comparison I can think of. I would like to see a legit pirate house done at HHN.

First time posting - I will say that Demon Slayer does not fit that aesthetic at all but it would be cool to see them take their jab at that! Of course, if it's done respectfully towards Japanese culture

Not to sound like a stereotypical "Ugly American", but while it made $500M worldwide, only 10% of that was from North America. Over $350M was from Japan alone. Not a big draw for Orlando.

Joking aside it's really something I'd like to see. I think things get tricky separating anything involving pirates with Pirates of the Caribbean. If they're just living pirates then it just becomes Pirates of the Pancreas.

Roanoke and Lighting Gulch is both felt pirate adjacent in era to me
