How is Universal linking your credit card with your Tapu Tapu? It's not your device like a MagicBand. Seems like it would be really easy to accidentally a Tapu Tapu that's either not synced with a credit card or, more scarily, linked to somebody else's credit card.

Looks like it's been done via the app. You probably load your CC details to your account and then sync your Tapu Tapu to your account. The Tapu Tapu could have a QR code on the back you scan with your smart phone using the app or something along those lines. You'll probably also get a message appear on your Tapu Tapu to confirm the details.

We need an acronym for Tapu Tapu but TT is already taken.

When people enter the park, they'll link their ticket with their TapuTapu for the day. If that ticket is already associated with a Universal account that has a credit card linked to it, boom! TapuTuPay.

I imagine no one knows this, but going on an assumption that we turn our tapu thing in when we leave, but what if we plan on coming back, do we need to turn it in as we leave, then do whatever it takes to get one/assign a card to it all over again each time we leave/come back.

I just know I will be staying at CBBR someday and visiting VB and I am just worried it might be a little bit of a pain to go back to the room in the afternoon and then return to VB later in the day.

I think it was mentioned that it's returned as you leave.

Given that everybody will get one, there will be an effective system in place to keep the queues moving quickly.
