I recall talking of a walkway under a road which I assume is from the Saphire side, would they be so mean as to make you walk from CBBR over to SF to get to VB by foot just to keep SF a step above CBBR?

No, Cabana will have a direct path somewhat close to Adventure Way and will link directly to the VB turnstiles.

Do you think the deluxe express pass privileges will be expanded to VB? ie: not having to wait for a return time

Maybe? I guess they will have to see how things go this summer, with having both the slide reservation system and Express Pass, and seeing how the former affects the sales of the latter.

How come there are no pics of the new large family slide going up next to Cabana Bay?

I'll see what I can do when the sun comes up.

There are, however if you are local if you could also get some pictures feel free!:

Latest picture from D987:

The white covered slides look like they are going to be pretty fast with the gradient of those bends!

The exciting news for me with the green slides going in is the hope that the blue slide directly next to it will also go in at the same time which I can't wait to see, as you can see in the image below the green one going in is next to the blue one on the bottom right of the latest promo video. The foundations have been done in this area for a long time now so hopefully all these slides will be up here in the next week. We are going to get a great view from CB over looking that! Would be nice if some could go set up a time lapse camera and get them installing it all!

Unless blue was burnt to a crisp. There was a staging area fire within the past 7 days.

And they will not be connected to the hotels. This is a set of slides that I have known about for two years... and it has not changed design.

The view of the blue slide reaching above the palm trees with the volcano in the background is the absolute money shot for me. Can't wait to see it come together.

Water Theme Park

Anyone pick up on the swimming yellow fishies in the waterfall in the video? This is gonna be good!

I believe they are trying to position this as a boutique type experience.

And "Water Theme Park" and the boutique experience lead me to believe the pricing for tickets will be closer to the pricing for park tickets (~$100) than waterpark tickets (~$60). If I had to guess it will be around an $80 ticket and I see limited season passes or none at all. To create the experience they are going for you don't overload the park with locals who use it as their swimming pool like they do at WnW.

How about $89.00 with free sunscreen and all you can drink soft drinks?

And how about 1 day included with 4 day on site resort stay packages.

Look at what they're doing for APs out in Hollywood...

There's a LOT more money to be made in 1 day tickets. Maybe APs will get $10 off admission or something.

At what time in the video? I just watched and I didn't see any yellow fish.
