Sure you care what someone on an internet forum thinks, or else you wouldn't act like a child with no social skills when someone voices a different opinion than you. Your shtick is old and weak.

I do this for fun when I'm bored at work, my friend. You have less bearing on my life than a fly does to a horse's ass.

You do realize you flipped out over a comment that wasn't directed to you though, right? Like, you lost your cool because I quoted someone else and you didn't read carefully enough to realize it?

But Gringotts is the second best ride you listed in this post.:p

It's a great ride, and in terms of innovation it's probably #3. In terms of enjoyment, though, I'd say Gringotts is my #5 on property. Objectively.

I think it's better than everything besides Spider-Man on property. I'd rank it somewhere between 4 and 6 that I've ridden around the world.

I do 100% agree with the statement that adding a 360 portion to F&F will make Kong & F&F both lose their "wow" factor. It happened at USH on the studio tour.. You pull into Kong 360 and you're blown away, then you get to F&F and the effect isn't nearly as cool because you just saw it 20 minutes earlier at Kong.

It's SEVERELY overrated. It's great, don't get me wrong. It'd probably be in my top 20 range. But it's really short, and it just kind of ends. The climax with the lava monster/launch is legit though.

I'm not going to prolong this, but I reacted in the way you spoke to me. That's what you don't realize, and something I noticed a lot of, and it wasn't the first time you've done it. It was more being fed up than flipped out. You decided to be condescending and antagonistic and defensive for no reason. Sorry you're bored, but that fly on a horses ass is your bag, because the way you amuse yourself by being an antagonistic and condescending jerk sucks for the forum.

Ugh. We wouldn't even be having this variety discussion of Universal would've gone with some of the plans I drew up in my childhood. :dusts off blueprints:

The Land Before Time: Journey to the Great Valley (1994)
The River Wild Rapids Adventure (1995)
Casper's Whipstaff Manor (1996)

Do you often watch bootleg Cam videos of 3d Imax movies and enjoy them?

Can we start deleting reviews from people that are basing opinions on crappy POV's of a ride. I guarantee you have never experienced a ride vehicle as advanced as this one. The motion and the 4d aspects of this ride make it amazing and it is a 360 degree experience.

Well considering 70% of the attraction is quite literally a movie being projected on a wall I would say yes, yes you can review it based on a Youtube video. "4D effects" oh you mean little squirts of water being shot at me, or air compressors blowing on me? Super exciting, never been done before effects right there. ;)

Is it really so hard for Comcast / Universal to just build an actual attraction anymore. I was so excited for this, I was so looking forward to this attraction being a breath of fresh banana scented air - but nooope just another simulator ride so Comcast can line it's pockets with more easy quick cash.

So when the new Soarin opens you're gone tell me you are disappointed you aren't flying over real life maquettes instead of in front of a 2D screen.

I think your being a little harsh if you haven't been on the ride yet, its almost impossible to get a true sense on what a ride is like from YouTube.

Tower of Terror, Spiderman, Toy Story, Gringotts and many of the other top rides in Orlando don't look half as good/enjoyable on YouTube as they are in person.

This is why im not watching any videos on Kong even though i won't get to ride until November, id rather wait to see it in person before judging it.

You are the embodiment of every Disney pixie dust snorting super fan in the comment sections of videos of this ride. The second ol' Walt pumps out the Avatar Land ride with screens or the Star Wars rides with screens, you'll be on your hands and knees worshipping, and chanting "Disney is Great, Disney is Good".

Don't feed a troll, its as simple and cold hearted as that. And also, something that came to mind is that people have complained about Universal on this ride being mostly Screen-Based. But there is something that I think people need to consider,

Universal essentially pioneered it to how good it could be. From when Back To The Future broke grounds in giving an immersive experience of sending you back in time with some of the largest Imax screens; to Forbidden Journey and the incredible use of Musion AND The Carousel Domes, and not even mentioning Gringotts; Universal has done so well in the Screen-Based attractions because of their experience in the field with it.

And to that, it makes me happy for Kong, seeing that the wonderful 360 technology first found in KK-360 is being implemented with the great Screen transitions of Gringotts. Plus, the fact that we are starting to see more complex Animatronics from the Witch to the Carnictis; and having the Puppetry gods of Creature Tech handle Kong, it should be a technological marvel in some retrospect.

And even if I judge off of a crappy quality YT video, its nothing pale to experiencing it (Which, can make quite the difference). So yes, don't watch them; because if you are going to judge it off of watching something instead of experiencing it, then you need to rethink what you perceive opinions of a ride like this. I learned that from FJ, and I hope people do for Kong.

The difference is that in 1990 Universal's parks weren't LOADED with simulator rides everywhere you look. One is a fun novelty, 5+ are a lazy nuisance.

The comments on that video speak for themselves. I'm very proud to see the general public finally waking up and saying NO to 3D screens on theme park rides.

I have never use the ignore function on a forum. However, it is getting very tempting.

Even if you want to whine about too much 3-D, this is only the 2nd ride at IOA to use it. USF may have that problem a bit but IOA needed a ride like this, especially in that area of the park.

A video posted by a mainly Disney site read mostly by pixie dusters like you. That would be like saying the general public hates Frostrom based on a video posted by Orlando United.

-WAY too many 3D screens, way more than I assumed it was going to have. It's basically the majority of the experience. Very bummed out. It's more of a short drive thru movie than theme park attraction.
-The animatronic bats in an early scene look like they were ordered from Spirit Halloween. Cheap in other words.
-More attention was paid to the queue than the actual on-ride experience.
-Kongfrontation in 1990 gave us 2 full body Kong AA....over 25 years later we get ONE and it's just his top half with no body movement at all. Yay for progress.
-Prerecorded tour guides is a lame idea. Original Kong ride had live people spieling which is much more personal and keeps it fresh longer.
-Really shocked to see them just take and alter an old 3D scene from Hollywood. Lazy.
-Went to the trouble to remove the track so it's more immersive...yet they use 3D screens... AND you can easily see other park guests walk by in the outdoor section. Super immersive. :|
-No actual gift shop. all the current merch is very bland and uninteresting.

In the end I'm super disappointed. Could they possibly ditch the 3d screen areas in the future and finish building the ride?

Admin note: Based on YouTube video.
