Weird it’s not listed under NBCUniversal like the others, and the dns is only running through a domain selling company not NBC servers, at least not currently.
something is moving ...

Would be very interesting to see Margaritaville get into the theme park business. They already have experience operating huge resorts (such as the one in Orlando) and they do also already operate a small park in Mississippi.

Could be a JVP with Margheritaville and Uni and that's how you get the imprint. And operate a watered down park. But I'm incredibly cynical

Or they just went and bought it outright on their own...or they're just opening their second resort at the park.

Don’t think that Margaritaville is looking for anything more than a hotel or a restaurant there. In fact, they would be a nice fit for the Hotel Caribe.

Anyway, the new operations director for PortAventura will take officially the position on monday, so it looks like we won’t have to wait much longer to know what’s going on

I hope they don't. Have you seen the reviews of their cruise ship? At least we could get some real cringe names like their waterpark.

Well, some information related to the title of the post, there has been an internal communication to announce the new COO that will also take charge of the shows department(last decade they where 2 different departments)

As seen on the tweet and its replies, people are celebrating the exit of the shows director as it seems people were not really keen on him and his style, he took his time during the last show of the season to trash talk his haters, so the relation with park fans was not the best there

And also yesterday was the last bird show, after 28 years, since the creation of the park, the show has been cancelled, leaving a really big space in the polinesian area of the park for whatever they want to do there

And now, Boulva has revealed in his LinkedIn profile that he is taking a brand new position within a company he hasn’t named yet, he is now “Senior Vice President - Park Operations”. He is also avoiding any brand reference apart from the Shambhala behind him (the comms team usually gets them to take their profile photo in front of the park’s logo in the entrance).

Btw, this is a position that does not exist within the existing PortAventura.

Of course they are, if anyone was seriously thinking they were buying the resort, that person was just delusional.

The resort will be managed by Universal and no amount of Bedford land is going to change that

Universal doesn't typically own and manage their hotel/resort properties directly, last I checked. They usually work with a hotel group involved in the process, like Orlandos with Loews.
