Pretty cool. I have yet to experience HOS, and was wondering, does HOS incorporate many AA's in their houses? Also, it may have been discussed before, but do they partition the line off? I was thinking I heard they do it earlier in the season when it's not as busy.

There are some animations, not alot like ZooBoo, but no audio animatronics.
Partition lines do you mean pulse? They do what they can with the lines when the crowd levels permit.

There are definitely some animated characters/robotics/puppets... the zombie dog, the enormous clown face, some of the creatures in Nevermore, etc...

They generally pulse, even if it means increasing the line to 45 minutes. It makes for a far superior house experience and often the pulsed group will separate within a minute, leaving you and your party completely alone.

I've just finished/published my review of the haunted houses, and needless to say I was impressed.

Where is it, I like to take a gander.

I'm just really surprised that attractions like HHN and HOS have hardly any animations or AA's.

I feel that by not pulsing the lines at HHN, lots of intimacy is lost. Granted, I understand the crowds prohibit them from doing so, but it's frustrating.

And yea, where can we read your review? I'd love to read it!

For those interested in reading Fallow's review, it can be found here:

Great read Fallow! Can't wait to see the rest of the review.

Just a couple of things I noticed, the hearse is supposed to have crashed in to the wall not be parked and Blood Asylum was one of the new houses last year. I think the Creature was kind of abandoned as he was all over that house last year. FYI Dr. Oglethorpe is HOS creative director Scott Swenson, who does nightly tour presentations for tour guests.

I agreed with most of what you said, having only been through the new ones once so far, I am just not as fond of Circus Of Superstition as you were.

On the hearse - gotcha. That makes more sense given the plot I've ascertained... to be honest, I was probably too stupefied by the initial chills to stand around long enough to notice. Hearses give me the major creeps.

I'll make a correction on the Blood Asylum house. It's a shame "Creature" was abandoned but the queue video/most of the cast still references him so prominently... it's such a clever theme, deserved more exploration. I saw from some professional photos from last year that he is indeed supposed to be the disfigured face guy... which I can live with if he just showed up more, with more purpose other than "here I am with a chainsaw, boo."

I had a feeling the actor portraying him was someone of some significance. I wish I'd had the opportunity to tell him in person what a great job he's done.

He also does the queue video for Cheetah Hunt and you can also usually find Scott lurking around the Fright Feast before the show starts.

Was the creature disfigured or wearing a face mask ala leatherface? I actually like this year better than lasts as the it was just too much of the creature and found it more appealing. Sadly they all have to have a chain saws, you know, because girls find them scary and all, but yeah they could have had him dismembering a victim as we hit the exit. I have never even seen the façade for BA or the introduction videos as I have always used the express line either from FF or the tours... thanks for the heads up I will make sure to have a go around in the regular line Saturday.
Vampire Casino was pretty good the first year, for all the reasons you stated, and so much better going through the right direction. The Vampires at the buffet with the bungis were so awesome when they all attacked at the same time. The second year they tried to shout off the lights and have us go through with flash lights but that didn't make all the way through the event all though I did get to do it and thought it was kinda cool. But not really a fan of this years run and I hope they will replace this house for next year.
