Year one list updated slightly with still more to come.

Zelda, Mario Kart, Splatoon 2, and Mario Odyssey are what I'll be getting. Yooka-Laylee and Shovel Knight as well even though they're not on the list they are confirmed. Then we have whatever could come to Virtual Console. Honestly, year one looks great to me.

I liked Rayman on Wii U but if they want me to double dip on that this "Definitive Edition" needs to have a ton of new content.

If Nintendo's next system is a "Switch 2" I'd have to think it would be incredibly easy to transfer your games over to it after this generation. There are some games I got on Wii that I haven't transferred to my Wii U so I guess I would have to buy them again even if my Wii U games came free.

I fully agree with the article as well but let me add that a Netflix like subscription should also include the online subscription. It should also have a ton of games from the start. I'd totally use it if that were the case.

Just for reference, 40 million would be 2.5x as many consoles as the Wii U sold (17 million). And that would be over 3 years, where the Wii U was out for 4.5 years.

Very simple, straight to the point; and showing the hardware being able to run anywhere you want it to go with the possibility of portable play with friends.

Color me impressed with the marketing, as I expect to see a much bigger rollout of ads pop up in the next few weeks ahead.

The thought of playing on the toilet goes back to the Wii U. The other scenario of playing in college is actually very believable. Maybe not in the classroom but I saw it a lot.

The basketball one actually has a good explanation. I read a YouTube comment that it's normal to not play a full game all at once and let other people take the court. If you look closely you see other people start playing in the background in the first trailer while the other guys play on Switch till it's their turn again.
