I figured that it was for mead. Maybe you can fight fire with mead. At the very least, if you consume enough, you won't care what burned.

I posted this video in the Stella Nova thread, but the nighttime Fyre Drill clip at the end looks so good:

Never expected Fyre Drill to look that impressive. That's going to be an underdog hit attraction.

I was thinking the same— and really impressed with how many boats they’ve got running on it!

This won’t be my personal favorite ride, but, the complaints of no dark rides in this land is kinda settled here. This will give us many of the same vibes, and you can watch from the sidelines if you don’t want to get wet.

good point....kind of an 'outdoor' dark ride contradiction.

Ehhh, it’s not really the same. Especially since the availability of the “dark” experience will be inherently limited. Mack Splash Battles also narrow your view because of the seating orientation.

Especially since the adjoining dining area looks down into the ride.

I mean… Haunted Mansion also, intentionally, narrows your view by sitting you in a bowl. Spider-Man does the same with the high walls of the Scoop. A narrowed view is not really a valid critique since it’s a common design principle of dark rides.

The only “limitation” is how wet the ride can get, which is purely a personal preference. There are no physical restrictions aside from a person’s height. Just like a classic dark ride.

NO WORDS.

Honestly one of the most impressive sights I’ve seen at any theme park ever.

I'm ngl... the closer we get to the park opening, the more excited I'm getting for IoB. This land looks absolutely beautiful and full of life just so much going on here. I think this will end up being the sleeper hit land of the park. I feel it in me bones

Anecdotal: We're taking our 12 year old grandchild to Universal in June of 2026. We took her to WDW this past summer. I showed her the Epic info, and bio's photos, of the park. She's most excited about Berk, Land of the Dragons. Nintendo is second. The other three don't register interest with her at this point in time.

Berk is easily my most anticipated land. I don’t think it’s a “sleeper hit” but I guess my “sleeper” take is I won’t be surprised if Hiccup’s ends up being the most popular non-Nintendo attraction in the park, beating out Monsters and Ministry (a la Slinky Dog Dash)
