I'm always happy to see progress, but I've yet to see zone triggers actually get executed well in a modern Horror Nights event. They were largely ignored in Terra Cruentes last year.

Feels like scarezone progress has come to an almost immediate halt this week. With very little progress on anything out in streets and rehearsals starting in little under 2 weeks.. maybe just me.. but I was expecting large scaled sets in streets this year with no superstar parade around.. and this time last year the streets were looking far better

They installed stages, platforms, lights, triggers, and speakers this week.

Also worth noting, while there is no Superstar Parade, Rock the Universe, etc, and a changing of the guard in terms of design team, we have also been told streets won't see a super significant change up from past years (I.E. massive overhead trusswork like Alice or 20 Years, an inflatable superdome over Production Central, and so on)

Prefabbed stuff can go up overnight

I expect with August starting next week, and the start of the Summer crowds starting to dwindle that construction will go into overdrive for the next few weeks.

It's best if we all largely ignore Gorewood Forest 2021 :chainsaw: I was triggered enough to last me until the next Season of the Queen

I think it will be a learned thing for them, I would argue it is the future of scare zones at UO
