Is WWE part of the rights for the Wyatt Sicks house? If so, I agree about the potential for the house announcement tonight on smackdown. But if this is just a collaboration with Wyatt then I wouldn't expect WWE to freely promote HHN at their events.
Anyways well know for certain in a few short hours!

Edit: After I hit post, I remembered that this house is rumored to also include Undertaker so disregard my above thoughts. This looks to be a collaboration with WWE.

WWE is all about owning nearly every part of IP that appears on their programming. To the point that Cody Rhodes had to sue in order to use his actual name in other promotions.

And the titular "Wyatt" has sadly passed away (and wasn't his real name). So this house (if announced) will definitely have WWE in the title/description somewhere.

They’re cooking with the originals this year. I’m still somewhat excited for the IPs that are coming but waaay more excited for these originals

I remember there being chatter about Ghostbusters being a "cold house" but I never noticed it feeling notably cooler than any other air conditioned soundstage. I want this one to feel like the habitat at the end of Penguin Trek dammit

The originals look good, though personally they don’t excite me as much as last year.

There’s a weird lack of variety to the houses - two slasher houses, two comedy-tinged western houses, two killer cuddly things played straight houses. It feels a bit like, after 2024, there was a lot of corporate meddling in the lineup.

If you really oversimplify it to the bones, sure - but I don't see how you can jump to that conclusion when you start adding the proper context.

Is this a grave that is made of flesh?

Is it a grave specifically dug to bury just flesh? If so, where do the bones go?

Yeah, it reads like a single grave made of flesh, which doesn’t even make sense. Thats what I first pictured at least lol. It doesn’t convey the idea of the house well. “Graveyard” would have been better. Oh well.

Ehhh… I don’t think you have to simplify too much to see the similarities. As I tried to indicate, it’s not just similarities of subgenre or setting but of tone as well. I recall that Legacy was skeptical of Hatchet because it seemed too similar to Fallout, and I think that’s really the least redundant of the pairs.

Not a huge deal, there’s still a lot to like. I was an outlier in really liking the 2024 lineup and I suspect I’ll be an outlier in having some doubts about this one. I hope the scarezone rumors are correct, because those actually appeal to me more then most of the houses.
