When the rights to Harry Potter are involved, they do have to worry about how to approach any licensing issues with anything WB related.

I wouldn't be surprised if this comes up in the short term. Universals agreement over HP is only till mid 2024 (they have a second agreement till 2029, assuming due to new park), not to mention all the royalty's they are paying WB. If they are indeed struggling right now, this could be a huge opportunity to own HP, and all other IP's (IT, conjuring, lost boys, etc). Be curious to see what happens, especially since they are including HP in the new park! I'd be excited if they can do this but I'm sure cash flow is extremely tight with everything universal is doing currently.

I promise you that buying WB will be more expensive than just renewing the contracts.

oops good catch, didnt mean to say they could lump all together for the price of just HP rights. Was trying to say they have an opportunity for buying WB better now, than they could have in the past due to struggles they are facing

I am trying to think what Legacy means by “Big One” and “How it would fit.” My guess is that the clue is not just a ”Big“ new I.P, but it also features/stars a BIG monster, creature, or set. The “Curious to see how this would fit” quote could be interpreted as not just on how they will literally fit the props and scenery into the soundstage/warehouse, but it could also mean how it would fit in the overall HHN event (think back to 2019, when “Ghostbusters“ came to HHN.)

I narrowed it down to three possible I.P’s: 1.) Jaws. 2.) Jurassic Park (1993). And 3.) King Kong. What do you think?

For interpretation, you have to take into account Legacy confirmed that comment is a very intentional word play.

"Curious to see how it would fit." can be taken as how this IP would fit into the overall event.
But when you turn that phrase into word play, it becomes "Curious to see how it would fit."

It, a very well-known property in all of horror. Be it the Book, TV series, and two films, the first just happens to be the highest grossing horror movie of all time. When it comes to properties, that is no doubt "A Big One".

Haven’t been posted in over a year but this is correct if it is what I think Legacy is referring to.

IT is a very interesting IP. IT is a pretty big IP and I'm sure many people would be content with its appearance. Just wonder how they would be able to land a deal with WB. Sure, many are claiming WB is struggling, but I don't know if it's to the point where they would want to share its biggest IP.

Believe It when I see It--how many false starts have we had with this property?

It would certainly do much to quell the "not scary" reputation.

Horror Made Here--for one year only!

(Of course, that one year is when It would've been most valuable--but could you imagine how terrible crowds would've been with both It AND Stranger Things?)

Between HNN’s nuclear bomb gif & Legacy tweeting this, something is definitely up. Whatcha got @Legacy? How chaotic could it be? ‍
