so with all the rumours going around and some potentially being fake info do you all think there will be a v2 of the spec map or if we going to end up with more spec maps this year than other years?

on a side note I think from the latest rumour the least likely is godzilla. The only one that more confident on is IT appearing due to the pennywise show next year so a good way to promote the upcoming series before we then get the pennywise series the following yr along with friday the 13th, five nights at freddys and another monsters house

We will definitely get a V2 of the spec map. Not sure when but we will get one.

Its been my experience that not all people who work on theme park stuff are theme park people. I would imagine a lot of bad info leaks are from people who simply heard something, didn't understand it, and passed it on.

For example I work with a guy who spelled Epcot "Escot" on a ton of items because he had never been to Disney World or even cared to learn about it.

Since one of the clues was found to be TLOU - and the off/on relationship between Uni and Warner Bros.. would it be safe to assume that the house would be based on the game rather than the show?

For marketing purposes, it makes sense to base it on the show. I'd much rather it be based on the game though since the show lacks scenes with the infected. I think they'll combine the show and game kind of like what they did with the Silent Hill house.

to be honest i dont think universal even need to worry about wb, it should be remembered that warner is struggling and at one point universal were rumoured to buy out wb if i remember correctly...

I think any potential end run around WB has to be weighed against the potential damage to the relationship that could ensue, especially considering that they've already negotiated with them about The Last Of Us and made a good faith effort to get it. WB has been reluctant to license key titles in the past but we still got The Shining, Trick R Treat and others through them, they're not completely recalcitrant. Blowing up that relationship now would be unwise, even if they're kind of a mess right now.

There is no guarantee yet that that's happening. Any number of things - regulatory concerns, debt, etc - can blow up a potential deal.
