Id argue Metallica is significantly bigger than the last of us will ever be.

In terms of popularity and commercial success, Metallica isn’t big as AC/DC but more so than Iron Maiden and Kiss. I think the reason why they’re now speculated at this point is because of their new album that is coming out this April, so It would make sense to promote their music and their next tour by doing a house for themselves at the event.

I like Metallica but I don't think this statement is true...this like me arguing for Phish house at HHN...popular but limited cross generational appeal...TLOU crosses gen z thru early boomers like most hbo shows. Metallica hasn't limited appeal with the younger crowd that attends HHN.

I thought that’s about as much material as Weeknd had and they are probably just as popular. Could the lightning bold be “Thunder”?………….

Possibly, but I feel like Imagine Dragons are not hardcore enough and they want to appeal to hard rock/metal fans. Dragons do have a lot of appeal and are pretty big, plus they were going to have Billie, so I can't rule it out. I just wouldn't say it's likely.
