Something that affect any sort of thematic discussion this year: recently, a Florida man was acquitted of murder after he shot a man in a movie Theatre when popcorn was thrown at him by another patron.
Not to sound insensitive, but this feels very reminiscent of a backstory Universal Creative would create for an icon (very similar to Usher’s story), and I wonder if, had a movie-adjacent theme like Usher, Director, or Eddie been considered, if any tentative plans are in consideration to be changed while things are still able to be modified.
To compare, this would be like the removal of Sindy during Casey Anthony, Eddie’s removal during 9/11, and the quieting of the “earthquake” storyline in Puppet Theatre.
Not to bring politics and the real world in, either, but I wonder if houses like Nightingales and other war-based concepts (Invasion, Purge, scenes of bloodied army members) might be pulled this year based on recent events.
I’d say according to the clues, Uni is already skewing towards the fantastical this year, and I’d expect more fantasy-based houses especially due to recent events.
