He absolutely isn’t and to think Terrifer is anything outside of niche still is fooling yourself. All three films were never released nationally at a wide scale, and by some loose definition, could still be considered indie.

I'd strongly argue the character of Art himself has transcended any popularity of the movies themselves and honestly shouldn't be conflated. A bizarre amount of people who have never seen any of the movies and aren't even horror hounds know who Art is and recognize him, and thats frankly all you need. My 60 year old mom knows who Art the Clown is.
Even if it means toning down the actual content of the movies, Art himself is undeniably a strong figure for advertising a horror event.
It's not outside the realm of possibility they just do a semi-original concept using Art and collaborate with the filmmakers, therefore skipping over the controversial aspects of the films while also having the extra marketing boost of being able to say they have something fresh for the fans.

As much as I am not a fan of the movies, I think this is true. Like a lot of horror icons (Freddy, Michael, Leatherface, etc.), Art the clown as a character is practically better known than the films he's in.

For goodness sake, there are elementary kids dressing up as him for Halloween. And I'd hope most of them have not actually seen the films, but even they realize he represents something scary and weirdly comic just based on how he looks.

Silent Hill is going to be the exclusive. I feel fairly certain that's what it would be. Could also see it go well in TWDA/Hudson Gate.

God I hope so. I'm not as confident as you are but that's my prediction as of right now for the IP exclusive. Having 2 video game IPs in one year would be crazy

I feel like Silent Hill is very possible for this year, but I wouldn't be so certain that Orlando wouldn't be doing it as well. I could've sworn someone in a prominent creative position for Orlando's team outright said they would really like to do Silent Hill again.

Correct, Aiello has openly stated Silent Hill is a property he would like to do again as he felt they didn't quite get it right the first time.

Silent Hill would be awesome - a genuinely creepy and well known IP that could fulfill that supernatural horror IP slot (The Exorcist: Believer and Insidious: The Further, in the past couple of years).

So exciting! Some early thoughts/interpretations (including based on existing spec/rumors):

Rocking Horse: The Last of Us Part II. There are horses in The Last of Us.

Santa Beard: Terrifier. After all, Art dresses as Santa and has the big beard in Terrifier 3.

Toys: M3GAN (could be just a solo M3GAN house, not a M3GAN/Black Phone combo). I wanted to interpret it as an advent calendar and go Friday the 13th, but toy shelf seems to point to M3GAN IMO.

Hands Ornament: Latin American monster (does anyone know if there is a Latin American myth about a multi-armed creature)? Or could it be Monstruous 3 because many arms = many monsters?

Santa with Popcorn: Slaughter Sinema, Hollywood version.

Ghost: Hard to call. Could be a supernatural horror like Silent Hill, could be an undead slasher like Jason (yes, I am really rooting for F13 after those early rumors), could be Phantom of the Opera (doubtful). Other thoughts?

Updated to reflect, looks like Purge will be back at Waterworld, and I'd read that ornamenet as a sign that the CROWZ are returning.

DreamWorks Theater having something this early is kind of surprising and interesting.

If it was Chucky, I think the clue would’ve been more subtle; and if it was Blumhouse I wonder if it’s could’ve been more apparent (like what H-Lot is, which Hydra brought up that it should be both M3GAN & The Black Phone {because of the rabbit}).

You're looking too deep into the Latin American maze. Its a piñata so no actual full on clues just yet there but it'll probably just be Monstruos 3.

As far as Terrifier goes... *sigh* (DoNotWant) ..but honestly, just give Art the Clown his own original house completely unrelated to the films with minor references thrown in. He's basically a glorified meme at this point. Might as well lean more into that territory for the house.

Anyway, I shared Spec map 1.0 earlier but never really looked at it until now, several hours later.

Jokes on us, we're obviously getting an entire holiday themed HHN for 2025. "Halloween Horror Nights: Holidayz in Hell"

Ghost = Scream?
Piñata = Latin American 3.0
Rocking Horse = Last of Us 2
Present 1 = Universal Monsters 7.0
Present 2 = Return to Silent Hill
Popcorn
= Original (All Nite DrIvE-IN? Silver Screams? Slaughter Sinema?)
Beard = Terrifier or Satan Claus' Revenge: Hellz Bellz (a Holidayz in Hell spin-off)
Toys = M3gan or Toyz (based on the past SZ)
Present 3 = Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares or original Terror Tram theme

Please bring Terrifier, just to make the naysayers mad lol I had to deal with The Weekend so now some of y’all gotta deal with my people aka the Terrifier fanbase. If it does get confirmed, I wonder what scenes they would actually use. Bring Slaughter Sinema as well.
