They’ll probably just port over the aquarium scene from Hollywood and call it a day. Don’t need to replace AA’s if you just remove them.

Thats more like 2015-2020 universal haha I trust universals direction these days. They learned the lesson and has been more focused on practicality.

As long as they keep Tiff at the end, I'll be ok.

Don't you put that evil on us! I think and hope they know that people weren't totally thrilled with the screen filled scene over at USH. Unless I'm mistaken, I think that also helped to fix some sightline issues from buildings in the distance? I don't want to see any screens or additional Jurassic World aesthetic creeping into this land.

The problem is the IOA "Jurassic" is now stuck thematically between "Park" and "World" and it feels disjointed. I sort of would like them to choose one and stick with it, but that's just me.

Yes, that's what I am thinking too. However, it will take a lot to make it consistently "World", which is the only option because they are not going to re-theme Velocicoaster to Jurassic Park. But even if they change River Adventure to World, it still leaves so much to change: The discovery center, the main gate, various different signs, Thunder Falls Terrace, etc.

So realistically it will remain a mix and match for a few more years, even if they decide to slowly move everything to world.

I doubt the general public cares, or even knows, which world/park it is. Business budget kind of dictates it will probably
remain a mix.

Funny enough I feel like this is what Disney discounted with Galaxy’s Edge. I’d argue 90% of guests don’t care about continuity or plot integrity. They want to see familiar locations and characters and enjoy living in their favorite scenes.

It’s also something Universal slowly abandoned with their HP lands as time went on. Hogsmeade was accurate down to the time period it took place in the canon. Then Diagon was like “hey, yeah you can switch between two different timelines after a train ride”. Then Paris/Ministry just said “screw it, fantastic beasts and HP, plus two different time periods in the same area”.

I don't think Park and World are disparate enough for them to need to go all in anyways. I'm satisfied with the mix we've currently got.

They didn't even bother to actually explain the time travel either, they just like ... didn't even care haha.

Very interesting observation!

Galaxy's Edge went so far as to not have John Williams' music because it wouldn't be played "on world".

Meanwhile, Hogsmeade threw to the wind once the Diagon Alley wands were made. Muggles? Not Muggles? Who cares! And it worked!

They are really testing the limits with the France/UK setup, but it works. Who cares! I have no Harry Potter background, love the first two lands, and I guess they now have time travel that works sometimes. Who cares!

They have a great (pretty good?) ride, a great show, a shitty bar with only three tables, and an awesome restaurant. The land rocks (except for Bar Moonshine)!

Incredible missed opportunity. I could understand if they want to keep the more natural left half of the land more ambient for the sake of the Rise experience, but within the Outpost itself there should 100% be Star Wars music. It just feels totally empty and lifeless without it.

Yes...and Star Tours, and its music, captures the ambiance and atmosphere of Star Wars better than the entire GESWL.

That doesn’t sound like nearly enough for total animatronic replacements.

I’m being dead serious when I say SWGE is the biggest failure in the entire history of the theme park industry. Genuinely, bigger than Euro Disney, Disney Studios Paris, bigger than any of the many announced and then scrapped US resorts like Mattel or Heart of Americana…

To me, it’s THAT big of a fail

Anyways… they better not add the Mosasaurus tunnel. That’s the only scene in any USH attraction that makes me think “jesus, did modern imagineering come up with this?” And the mosasaurus is one of my favorite dinos so that’s really saying something

Although it is taking an eternity to build, Mattel Adventure Park is neither scrapped or cancelled. The thing is mostly built at this point, and active visible work is still ongoing.
