Yeah, Florida absolutely could host a modified Olympics between the Miami/Orlando/Tampa/Jacksonville/Gainsville/Talahassee areas. They have the rooms to do it and enough existing venues to handle most events. By not really needing to build new venues, they could probably do it profitably.
