Any word on the price of the 1 day tickets?

Current one day tickets start at $134 and tickets in April are around $155-$170. So somewhere around there.

Kind of in same boat as my AP expires Nov 11. However thinking I may renew in hopes of passholder previews. Both hubs and daughter have active AP that expire next year and I don't want to be left out lol. Daughter lives in Orlando but hubs and I would have to fly in for previews. May down grade from premiere though.

Ahh, yeah it sounds like you have a great reason to make multiple trips to ORL. Definitely sounds like you need to renew!

Ideally, I'd want 2 days.

With early entry and Express activated upon opening, two days seems like the minimum that will probably required to see everything in the park for off-site, non-Express people (and perhaps even inclusive of on-site people).

I can't imagine trying to see everything in this new park in a single day. And we'll see what ticket configurations have yet to be revealed, but I suspect Universal is banking on many guests wanting (at least) two days, and are trying to coerce them into buying multiple multi-day tickets that they don't need/want in order to get two days at Epic.

1) Do people really think Epic can't be done in a day with express? I see 11 rides plus the show
Unless each ride takes an hour, feels doable

2) If I get tickets next week, can I add on express to my other days, I know Epic I can't but just want to make sure I can add them on

3) I guess a third question do I even need to add on express if I'm staying at the more expensive hotels? I think you get express for staying at a few hotels but just double checking,

I think Express will be the only way to do the park in one day if you want to see absolutely everything (also factoring in actually spending time absorbing everything in all the lands, as everyone should do on a first visit).

Re: (1), my plan is to do everything and skip Mario Kart + the smaller Berk rides. Assuming early entry + 9-9 opening hours, I should be ok? Low wait time for Mine Cart Madness at rope drop + luck for Battle for the Ministry is going to be pivotal.

1) We don't know, but it's a reasonable assumption if other parks are to go by.

2) Are you able to "add on" Express beyond buying it per day? I'm curious I don't know.

3) Which hotel are you staying at?

These are all reasonable questions. I don't think officially answers have been released to any of them.

It's almost like Universal is counting on panic-buying to try to force sell-outs the few days (and also forcing international guests to bundle in an extra day at USO whether they will use the ticket or not, to prop its numbers up).

1. It depends on what you want to do, but getting the highlights of EU should be doable. It just might come down to the glut of peopel slamming EU that might make it impossible.

2. I book through a Travel Agent, and whenever they book, they have the ability to buy Express (1 or 2 park, 1 per ride or unlimited) for any specific day you'd want. You probably could be able to buy it yourself through UO directly as I doubt they require the ticket to be purchased at the same time.

3. You get Express for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure included with stays at Hard Rock, Royal Pacific and Portofino Bay. As far as anyone can tell, no details about EU are official yet and where it would be included. Helios hasn't said anything about any sort of Express.

I'm really hoping tickets don't immediately sell out on Thursday. I am really hoping to buy an opening day pass, even if it takes a while to go a second time after that.

I have to say I don't like what they are doing with "2-day tickets will be available at a later date but before May 22". I can buy tickets with my about to expire APs for August...which is when I plan on getting another AP. So will these 2 day tickets be available without APs and will they be offered for usefor the first few months after opening or not until later?

2 day tickets will be available to all. This upcoming window is for general vacationers and APs. The next wave is for everyone.

This thread has taken off since last I looked, so apologies if this has been answered:

1) What time on 10/22 does this open for APs?
2) Can APs buy more than one ticket per AP when this happens (i.e. can I get two, day tickets for me)?

I don't mind this type of roll-out at all. For at least 10 years, our trips have been UOR as the "home" and sometimes as many as two days at other parks (AK, SeaWorld, LegoLand, BGT). This is no different from this point of view.

But will the 2 day tickets be purchasable for use for the first few months of opening? I could see the first few months only being 1 day tickets and ticket packages only.

Source reporting that per Universal "Additional Universal Epic Universe-inclusive ticket products – including one-day and two-day tickets, Universal Express and more – will be available in the coming months and will go on sale before the park opens."

One thing I've found interesting about the wording is "1-day and 2-day tickets will be available for Epic."

This makes me think that, at least for awhile, you won't be able to buy a "3-park/4-park ticket" that includes Epic. At least not right away.

Maybe I'm reading too far into that?

I was on the phone with Guest Services this morning to ask some general questions about Thursday's Epic AP tickets and one of my questions was about when the window to purchase would open. The UOTM said they haven't been told specifically what time it would start (not surprised there) but to check at midnight to see. Not saying that's when it'll happen for sure but it could be a late night for some of us.

We'll be heading over early next October for HHN and will want to go 2 days...is there any advantage to me jumping in and buying 2 X single day tickets with my AP this Thursday? Or waiting to see if/when a 2 days ticket drops?

Wait, you’ll have better options closer to your trip.

"Is there an advantage?"
On one hand, yeah; I'd say getting to have early access to buying the tickets and being able to snag them so early as to not have to worry about them anymore is a distinct advantage over many others. lol
I think a lot of people would consider simple 'peace of mind' an advantage(at least i would).

"Or wait to see WHEN a 2 day ticket drops?"
I -and many others, it seems- want to see the whole spread before jumping into anything prematurely. What promotions, bundles, or offers will they release for 2025 in conjunction with Epic? Will park-hopping tickets be discounted if you are just selecting US and IoA vs. a ticket that includes Epic? Will multiple Epic days be less expensive together or with the other 2 parks included on a multi-day ticket? These are some of the basic ticketing questions i personally need answers to before i pull the trigger on anything.

And i am saying that as someone who has both August and October dates holding at Universal resorts.
I plan on doing 2 days minimum at Epic on both trips, that much i hope for.
However, I believe i will end up getting a 2 day parkhopper ticket for US and IoA for my October trip on top of my Epic and Horror Nights tickets, so i personally want to see the options there; Whereas my August trip is JUST going to be for Epic and i will spend 2/3 days there, if possible.
