APs will have the first access to single day tickets. It wont be available to everyone else until later.

I'd be surprised if they discount tickets. Seems like the AP perk is just getting early access before the GP can get tickets the following day.

Has it been released when single day tickets for non-AP holders will be available?
We have our reservations for GH and the 3 day ticket package, but would like to add more EU days.
So excited!

ETA- Is there any knowledge or speculation on express passes for EU?

About the 1 day ticket sale that starts tomorrow. It says that you can buy a 1 day ticket for every pass linked to your account. But it seems that you can only link your own pass to your account. I have three friends that also have annual passes. Will it be possible for one person to buy tickets for the whole group?

Confirmed with MEI. It has to be through Universal since it is AP-related.

I tried this morning

Fair prices on everything but I could not get the dates I wanted, so now I'm thinking I'll just get a park hopper for Universal and if I can get a ticket before my trip next summer cool if not...I'll just miss it

On AttractionTicketsDirect, which a lot of people from the UK use, I’ve just spotted a 2026 ticket that is 14 days unlimited access to all 4 parks. The current 14 days incl 1 day of Epic is priced around £400, this is priced at £440. Not sure if this is new info but had a (very) quick glance and didn’t spot anything.

For reference, if accessible Universal Orlando All Parks Ticket

I think Express will be the only way to do the park in one day if you want to see absolutely everything (also factoring in actually spending time absorbing everything in all the lands, as everyone should do on a first visit).

Truth is we have no idea yet. Reliability is my biggest concern. If the rides aren’t operating at full capacity , which is likely given the technology involved , then it’s a toss up. It’s possible not all rides will have express acess
The first few months … maybe year.

Hagrid is still standby only , and it’s been operating on a pretty steady clip for some time now.

Until the park opens and we see how operations and crowd surges are handled ,
It’s really a complete guess. I think safe
Bet is at least a 2 day pass. Possible express could be a 1 per ride , like they do with HHN, since no hotel is currently offering unlimited as a perk

We’ll be visiting from the UK next year, although tickets start a week or so before the opening date.

Do you think it would be a possibility to upgrade our tickets when there to annual pass and then get access via soft openings?

I’d bet that soft openings are going to have a reservations system/ signup similar to the AP appreciation nights, which means you would most likely need to have an AP when the reservations open up to be able to attend soft openings.

My guess .., is if they offer pass holder previews , it will need to be reserved in advance, and those passes will be completelty gone by the time you are here.

But that’s assuming they even offer this, or soft open.

1) No date has been set for single day tickets, but if I was Mr Universal I'd release them in early 2025.
2) Universal has said Express Pass information is coming soon, taking a guess a few months before the park opens.

I’m not trying to make this a vacation planning thread as this is mostly for opening, but January 2026, when should I plan to book? I’m assuming early spring next year but throwing it out there. Many experts here. No clue what hotel yet (high end or value resorts all possible)

If this were Disney , I’d tell you book a year in advance , but UOR doesn’t typically see the same manic behavior as Disney fans. I’d say April 25 you should be more than ok.

Universal does do flex pricing based on demand , so typically booking early does provide the best pricing , unless they run a promotion at a later date.

I have this same question - it SEEMS like the answer is yes the way I read this. From the FAQ page:

Q. Can I buy these tickets for friends & family?
A: Yes, Passholders can purchase tickets on behalf of other Passholders if they’d like – they will just need to have all Pass information available at the time of purchase.

FYI ticket prices have already increased dramatically. Yesterday , the 3 day weekend I booked was $159 per day per person, today it’s $194.
Haven’t checked to see if hotel rates have changed too .
At this rate , I’m expecting single day tickets will be close to $220 for this particular weekend. But that’s just my guess.

I'm 99.9% certain no ticket prices changed, you were probably seeing a contextual change in the marketing language, or were looking at the one park per day compared to the park-to-park.

One day one park ticket is $179 on Christmas. I doubt they’ll increase prices 22% for epic.
