It broke my brain when I saw the other side of it's head. The mouth goes all the way around, but obviously there are no eyes.

$12.99? That's a ruff price

Nearly double what Disney charged for the Mac & Cheese at F&W this past year. ($6.50 for a decent portion of Mac & Cheese w/ philly cheesesteak)

I don't intend on being negative, I just wish Universal had more reasonably priced snacks.

I'm going to guess this is because it comes in a souvenir can, similar to Who Hash.

Sure it comes in a wrapped container, but I wouldn't call it a typical souvenir item as the build quality is poor for safekeeping later on. It's a standard tin can with a paper wrap. If it were actually plastic like a souvenir bucket or cup, the price would be more appropriate.

The pizza kinda looks unappetizing but it also seems to have the characteristics I like, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s actually super good!

The pizza here is absolutely the best pizza between the parks. I hate the price, but it's been really really good the 5+ times I've gotten it.

This was the whole reason I got that Cordyceps Lasagna at HHN a few years back. Wasn't huge on the food, but that FEDRA can it came in was one of the most insanely niche theme park merch items I've ever seen and it was aimed precisely at myself haha.

are we discounting that there is some sort of meat in the mac -n-cheese? just not sure if Disney's mac n cheese had meat as well as that could account for some of the price difference?

Well they both had meat, but looking at photos - the Epcot Mac looks about half the size.

Double the portion (with souvenir tin). Double the price. Most theme park prices are always inflated and I wish they were lower, too - but this isn't as crazy as initially thought.

The F&W offering was a decent portion of heavy pasta & shaved beef. We ended eating this first on our first day and had to wait longer than I typically do for the next item.

Animal Kingdom has the Eight Spoon Cafe offering Mac & Cheese with choice of Barbacoa Beef or Pulled Pork for only $6.79 and a decent portion too.

I just, personally, believe that anything that is meant to be a snack shouldn't exceed $10.

It's $7.29 for the Mac N Cheese with Beef. I'd also say that this is more than a snack but not quite an entree. It also seems closer to Beefaroni than "Mac and Cheese with a meat topping". I'm just saying it's tough to make this an Apples to Apples comparison.

Typo on my part, the $6.79 is for the pulled pork version.

While I agree that the Uni version has the "premium offering" of an additional souvenir keepsake, is it really worth an extra $4 for a tin can?

Well, it has more meat, and is a bigger portion, too. I'd say that's worth the extra $2, and the can is worth the other 2.
