Nobody’s ever found video of the original meteor and swooping pterodactyl effects, right? I’ve hunted them down for years but all footage I’ve ever seen from 1998 pretty much shows the ride the same as it is now.

I believe there is a video on YouTube with the meteor. That’s how I knew I knew about that bit. I saw it years ago though.

Yeah, I think this is the best footage of the meteor we have. It also looks to be a pretty accurate reflection of how the effect looked in practice.
