I’m still not really interested in this. If you’re going to do a moving walkway shooter, why not just make it like Buzz Lightyear? I don’t understand the point of standing.

Space, time, and money.

Overall I think this will be an improvement on Shrek (a low bar) and families will love it.

I'm mostly interested in how well the setup works. If the "stand through" is successful and the illusion works, I could see this being used across the resort to bring in some C-ticket level attractions. There are perennially closed shops in Seuss that they could jam together to make a stand-through version of another Seuss story (or even one that can me retooled through the year to different stories). Heck, I could see it being an addition to Diagon where the Weasleys take you through their gag factory.

Yea, I get that it's not the most exciting thing in the world, but I see the tech having promise to add small, diversionary attractions to areas of the park that are lightly used.

"We may not have built the ride you wanted, but here's... a meet and greet!"

I would not be surprised at all.

Probably went with moving walkway due to height restrictions and space constraints.

It seems space was only constrained because they didn't want to level the building in order to preserve future HHN usage (and to save money).

Quite honestly, the idea of a ride system like this interests me a lot. Like you said, it would bring something that could be fit into small areas - so even parts of the park without a lot of space could contain something like this.

Yea. I'm not saying I want these to be everywhere and every new ride. But I see its potential as a gap filler

Very curious to see this 'innovative' screen technology.

...Maybe on the level of Cosmic Rewind?

Maybe I missed it - but what's innovative about Cosmic Rewind?

With the continued addition of screens in attractions, I'd like to see them continue to use the screen tech they use in Bourne. Those screens are so unbelievably seamless and crisp.

This sounds about right the most, since they’re mostly spending their good money on Epic Universe and soon replacing a portion of Kidzone at Orlando, and we could see more attractions with a similar system to Minions to fill in anything that is empty or antiquated.

Just how big those screens are, and how well it follows the coaster.

I'm all for that lol. Paint Rockit yellow and it'll fit right into the Minion Land.

But in all seriousness, I wonder how this new "land" will affect Rockit.

Yeah, Production Central will pretty much become a complete Minions theme area, but the Music Plaza stage area could serve as a bridge between that and New York. If Rockit is staying right now, then maybe they could reroute the queue and entrance If that’s ever possible.

See, now I wonder if the Betty Boop/Hello Kitty store will get turned into a Minions store. I know Minion Mayhem already has a store, but I don't think Universal would miss out on having a giant Minion store within the land.

Gotcha - I haven't ridden it so wasn't sure. The POVs don't translate how big the screens are I guess! haha.

As far as the idea of Betty Boop becoming Minions.. I wonder if they used the old Shrek gift shop area for queue/ride space? That would make at least a slight bit of sense.

Oh yeah, trust me when I say the POVs don't do it justice. Those screens are massive.

You mean Hello Kitty? In which case, yeah I can see that happening.

Yeah I guess that's all the same store isn't it? haha.

Maybe the attraction took over the old gift shop space and that's where they're going to put the Villain Con gift shop. That'd be a BIG gift shop for one ride, though.

Villain-Con will have its own exit gift shop, directly across from Super Silly Stuff (Minion Mayhem's exit gift shop).

It's basically two stores in one lol.

Yeah, I don't see it being the gift shop for Villain Con.

I dunno, I am usually on board with what universal does but this is giving F&F vibes. This is essentially a video game. aside from the sets (that remain to be seen) this is something I cold do at home. There is no AR, no 3D aspects, just stand there and play a game. I am not going to play armchair universal creative, but I think something much better could have come out of this brand for a Villian-con attraction. When i enter an attraction, i'm partly trying to rest and get off my feet, not on them.

It seems they got rid of the interactive Snowball in Hollywood. At least, I haven't seen him out in a very long time. So idk if they'd bother bringing it to Orlando

He's not gone. The animatronic puppet is temperamental, and very few people are qualified to voice him.

Re-record every song but sung by the Minions.
