Signs are up on the construction walls too.

I notice that they are not just images of the Vicious Six from The Rise of Gru, but also Vector, Scarlett Overkill, and Balthazar Bratt. Wonder if they will be in the attraction too. And if so how will they make that work? the time period of the minions spin offs so far(60's-70's) was well before Vector's and Bratt's time and Overkill was thrown into jail at the end of the first Minions film although it is said she did manage to escape. Maybe they (Vector and Bratt) will be brought in from the future .

I don’t think most people, including UC, are looking into it this deep. Not a franchise that requires strict timeline constraints.

What property would you even retheme Rockit too? The ride doesn’t have the same age demographic as any Illumination movie.

I know it's unlikely, but retheming it to the Super Silly Fun Coaster from DM1 would be really fun.

When they announced the Illumination Avenue part of me began to wonder if they would expand into the area to the left of Rip Ride Rocket. I also wonder what IP they would use. Maybe Sing on Tour as that is also speculated to come to USH on the upper lot in their Illumination land or Maybe an improved Secret Life of Pets ride since SLOP 3 was announced to be in development recently. Or maybe by the time they get around to expanding with Illumination IP there will be a new property worth using for a ride.

Could they get Trey Parker? Universal managed to grab Nancy Cartwright and Will Smith at the peak of his fame so maybe?

The Vicious 6 are an ever-changing group of supervillains, and they swap out members as needed... so they have a built-in excuse to pack them with more known characters from throughout the entire franchise.

I’m still not really interested in this. If you’re going to do a moving walkway shooter, why not just make it like Buzz Lightyear? I don’t understand the point of standing.

Kind of funny how two out of the three auditions to Orlando next year are going to be stand up rides.

That because there is a height requirement to ride on MIB. Minions will be a different interactive experience for younger guests.

The Illumination Ave portion is very interesting. My assumption is the old Shrek meet and greet will be replaced with a new one. Maybe SLOP with an interactive Snowball/Max?

I will be very curious to see if Rip Ride Rockit gets a retheme - it'd be fairly cheap to do and could be sold as a "new attraction" in a time where they probably don't want to dedicate too much money to the main resort.

Probably went with moving walkway due to height restrictions and space constraints.

Let’s be honest, it’s cost. More flexibility to work within the existing space without major construction modifications, less money spent on vehicles, etc. If they wanted to custom design vehicles that were more accommodating than what they have at the Pets ride in Hollywood, they could have.

The truth is, nothing amazing could’ve fit in this spot. I think the concept is bland too but it’s not like they wasted prime real estate for this at least.
