I think Kong was the writing on the wall for JP in IOA. I think ultimately they build the Gyro ride at JW in the new park. JP gets refurbs, but nothing serious. And If they need more Potter and/or have another IP the they want in IOA, JP will go away.
I don't think ANOTHER potter area should take up JP. JP is old but it's so nostalgic, original, and unique. I feel like it brings IOA together and should never be torn down. Refurbished yes, but the iconic entrance music should never go away.

The HP entrance to JP should be significantly changed...First for people flow and second for general park aesthetics and lastly, for potential future expansion

How to fix Jurassic Park...

Level it.. All of it.. Replace it with Jurassic World.

Gyrosphere Ride
Table Service restaurant with underwater viewing of that big ass water dino
Kids playground

JW is half the size of JP and both Skull Island and Potter expand.

I can't believe I'm saying this since I always agree with you...but total disagreement here. I love JP even as it is. While I wouldn't mind seeing some additions to JP, River Adventure is still one of my all time favorite rides.

Me too. Completely disagree with HTF. And lets not forget Camp Jurassic, one of the all time immersive play for "all ages" areas. And love that Raptor too. An additional filler attraction in the empty space next to the Raptor M&G, as you said, would be nice. River Adventure is almost perfect. It just could use a couple of outdoor dino upgrades.

If the kids playground is as good as Camp Jurassic, I agree

I'd rather see the Discovery Center/Trikes plot used for a JW-inspired revamp and a total overhaul of JPRA, but cutting the island's size in half just wouldn't be the best.

There's not a lot else to expand on with Skull Island that wouldn't seem redundant (or a Kong-themed variant of something that could work just fine as a JP D/E)

And I'd rather see DC/Hippogriff leveled and replaced with a Thestral/Ford Anglia dark ride, indoor Azkaban family coaster (featuring a Verbolten-esque drop and realistic Dementor encounter in the finale), Care for Magical Creatures stage show and Great Hall table-service restaurant than JP lose real estate to Potter.

I'd level everything but JPRA. It's old and outdated and frankly, Universal are better than this.

I also can't see a Jurassic World ride existing in Orlando, the same time as a Jurassic Park ride unless they're in the same area.

I miss walking into Jurrassic Park and seeing the electric fences, believing, if just for a second that the land went on for miles...I also miss the seclusion from the rest of the park...No Hogwarts looming, a second entrance gate, no carnival games...Sound FX...

I would love to see a return to that in some form...If that means JW then so be it...I do feel JW was successful due to the nostalgia of JP, but what do I know

Did you get to read my care for magic creatures show? If so, thanks for including it.

Honestly, I'd just want some more TLC to go back into the land. I feel like the thread of the land has been lost. It's a lot of wasted space, a lot of carts + poorly themed games + retail kiosks.

I love Jurassic Park. Probably my favorite movie of all time. What they have in IoA just doesn't do it justice.
More danger and more mystery is what JP needs.

Looking at Beijing Map, I think I spotted Jurassic World, not sure about the attractions though..
This could give us an idea for a future JP/JW expansion.. ( 3rd park ?)

Would it be plausible ?

Honestly, not sure if I'm in the minority here, but unless it's like a Big Thunder Mountain level of intensity coaster I'm against adding more coasters to the existing parks.

I'd love to see a dark ride or something else a la Reign of Kong to be added to JP. Though I fear the Dark Ride could end up becoming "Dinosaur (Universal Edition)" if they weren't careful with how they handled it.
