I think Kong was the writing on the wall for JP in IOA. I think ultimately they build the Gyro ride at JW in the new park. JP gets refurbs, but nothing serious. And If they need more Potter and/or have another IP the they want in IOA, JP will go away.

I would be totally on board for that. I'd love to see Universal resurrect their original concept for the jeep ride.

Short of that happening, I've got no issues with JPRA.
I was hoping Kong was going to be the Jeep Tour re-visited, buuuut we all know how that went

USF is 27 years old.
IOA is 18 years old.

And IOA does have a few areas of interest:
-New Suess movies could allow for a refurb to Seuss landing
-Dreamworks/Illuminations in Toon Lagoon
-JP
-Lost Continent refurb

I think after Volcano Bay and F&F, and that Nintendo starts construction, IOA could be receiving some walls?

huh...might be something here.

I could never see JPRA leaving universal. You could make it better all you want, but without JPRA what is Jurassic aprk in Universal Studios.

Have Creature Technology make new ones.

Problem solved :)

I still think JP in IoA can coexist with JW in Site B. They do it with Potter.
Very true. It's seems very redundant but have a monorail cross from land to land, and make OG JP look a little outdated. It's a cool thought I think.

I've always felt Islands of Adventure didn't age well, and the scope of potential replacements has kept it from receiving the level of attention Studios enjoys... Jurassic Park, Port, Lost Continent and Seuss have done fine (though JP lost many of the touches that made it special). Marvel and Toon reek of budget cuts from when they were originally built - revised Hulk softens that blight, and obviously Spider-Man is exempt. The rest, though?

This is really off topic (sorry) but can anyone please tell me what kind of ride type is revenge of the mummy and Gringotts. Is it a gerstlauer infinity or a eurofighter? I'm trying to recreate it on NL2 but I don't know what kind of ride it is. Can someone please tell me.

Gringotts is Intamin

They're proprietary ride systems that have not been utilized any where else. Both are very similar, and one is an obvious progression from the other, but they are built by two different manufacturers.

The closest you are going to find to either of these systems is the Dynamic Structures SFX Coaster. I think.
