The sign looks faded so maybe a repaint and they hang the sparkles back up?

Anyone have any info on why the area in the middle of the transit hub was move/reduced? It happened in a matter of days.
I like it it feels as though there i more space to walk around there now.
Used to be right here in the middle in photo below.

It's just to help improve traffic flow for the metal detectors. It was getting pretty cramped in there recently.

Reviving this thread, rather than starting a new one.

Just got a new survey from Universal about what I would like to see added to CityWalk that would get me to spend more time there. I copied some of the more interesting things on the list. Not that they're thinking of adding all these things, but you can get a sense of some of the things they're considering for the future (of both CityWalk and maybe future I-Drive projects.)

I separated them into categories myself. The survey would give me 6 at random at a time and ask to name my favorite and least liked of the six... And this happened 23 times, mixing them up each time. I left out ones that already exist on property (like Emerils, Margaritaville, Toothsome, Authentic Mexican Restaurant, etc.)

Play laser tag ($35 per person)
Go to a video arcade ($25 per person)
Go to Dave & Busters ($45 per person)

It seems that they want to bring one of the DWA stage shows here, which interests me; as it's not just HtTYD but also Shrek: The Musical (and even Wicked of anything)..

I am very interested in some of the offerings they have mentioned, retailer and dining based. I think a lot of this is very likely to be done down south of the property, in many ways more than one (Especially some of those entertainment options like the Stage Production's).

SNL lounge is the hands down winner here.

I am curious/confused about the "Shop with" and "Eat at" portions. Is the amount what they expect the price point to be or are they proposing to charge you to do this (spend money)?

BTW I think the fresh Italian is Vivo, craft beer sports bar is NBC and dueling piano bar is Pat O's, etc with Red Oven, Lombards filling it out. German and SNL would be new

I guess how much they expect you to spend if fully partaking in that particular venue's offerings. A concert ticket is $50, you pay around $100 for sunglasses, etc.

And, yea, I didn't think about fresh Italian, craft beer sports, dueling pianos, pizza, etc already being there, was just in a hurry copying everything. Good eye.

I've heard a rumor about a Wicked show coming to CityWalk for awhile now. They've had a traveling version touring the country (and world) for many years and I bet they're waiting until they've finished touring before setting down roots on that. (And yes, Universal is the rights holder for that show, crazy I know.)

Anyone else have no desire for whatever "luxury bowling" is? I mean I like bowling but "I wish I could pay twice as much for bowling" is not something I think I'll ever say.

How popular is the movie theater in Citywalk?

Also the SNL lounge would fit neatly into the Rising Star bar

I took the survey also. While I'm sure they are looking at general interests more so than planning to add all this I also kind of wonder if this could be some early planning for the speculated 2nd Citywalk.
