Yeah I will do, I really did enjoy the food but the price was ridiculous. I had vowed never to return but what with the positive feedback and your advice I will be sure to hit it up next trip

It has taken Universal nearly 20 years and multiple failed locations to figure out that people don't come to Citywalk to do shopping, or get tattoos, or even to see movies. Those all take a backseat to food and drinks.

Good for them. Their competition will be World Showcase, not Disney Springs.

This be so true, for me anyways. I've never didn't a dime in those stores and the only time I've been in them is to use the @IzzyB shortcut.

Would more or only restaurants in City Walk be over kill though?

I've been meaning to see a movie while I'm there. I'm sure I'll take advantage of it one day. It's definitely nice to have as a resort guest.

I saw Deathly Hallows pt 2 there at midnight, then they took us into Hogsmeade. It was awesome.

With that being said, they needed to upgrade their facilities. Hopefully that's happening soon.

Eh. Maybe I'm being spoiled, but I'm against any more places that you can find anywhere across the US. I'd like to see more places like Red Oven or Hot Dog Hall of Fame. Uni concepts that, while typical, at least feel different.

I like the ideal of Cowfish, taking a regional unique place and brining it to the resort.

I'm good with that as well. I just don't really need any more ColdStones or Menchies

While I understand everyone's enjoyment of Antojitos and Red Oven and such i really LOVE those fast food choices up stairs... IMO they need more quick choices in a food court type environment like the one located above. I know many will disagree but most times i dont really want to spend much money or time in city walk and rather spend that time and money (on food) in the parks. I usually grab Moes and or Panda Express i do agree with many others that an authentic Asian restaurant is due. Moes is awesome and while i know you can get that outside of the parks not everything has to be something unique cause sometimes you just want a quick bite the you already know id tried and true to your liking even red oven is amazing but takes a while to get your food.

Retail - It is very expensive there and have only used it once (emergency) to get a hurley shirt that cost me 35 bucks which i then saw at an actual hurley store for 20. the 35 bucks was with my premier pass discount which im not sure is available anymore.

I will agree with some one here that the layout of the second floor is very difficult to get to / out of the way (not convenient) to get to.

The elevator is sort of hidden, but it's there. It takes you right next to the foodcourt entrance.

Goodness, I missed it too... it's so plain and unadorned that my brain just skipped it I guess.

I know there are people that love them, but I can't stand a restaurant where you have to cook your own food. That being said the Mongolian grill type restaurants where you select your food and take it to be grilled are really great and I would love to see one of those!

I don't like to cook at home, so why on earth would I pay money to go to a restaurant and cook my own food? Those places are one of the stupidest restaurant ideas ever. Fondue I can deal with, kind of, but grilling your own meat? No way.

Vivo is so far above Olive Garden quality it isn't funny. Vivo makes their pasta fresh, their bread is good and well-baked and not undercooked, doughy, and anemic-looking, their salads are delicious with house made dressing and decent greens. OG has none of that. I can't stand Olive Garden.

All the times I've been at CitiWalk, and they are many, I never spent a penny in a retail store. I go to CitiWalk, as a tourist, for the restaurants, bars and entertainment. I think it's a great venue for what it is. I don't want a Disney Springs retail mall oriented thing. Space is limited, so it's best to keep the present theme. And as an aside, maybe eliminate or alter the few retail establishments. But I certainly don't want to see more retail than there is now.

No theme park can match the smell of the town that I live in right now. A zillion seafood restaurants. Boiled Maine Lobster, Fried clams, sea scallops and haddock with a steak here and there. It is intoxicating.

a smoothy place would be awesome. So great on a hot day when you need to get some calories into your cranky teenager, but they don't want to eat.
My daughter gets downright scary when she is hungry, and that is when she resists food.
I do like the idea of a unique location, not a chain place. But, would still love a smoothy location.

The closest that I can get to this concept would be Fire & Ice. Essentially you choose your meats and sides, hand it over to a cook in the middle and they cook it for you and hand it back over the rim. It's a little hokey and low quality for my taste, but still pretty fun.

I know many were happy to see it go, but it's gonna be weird looking across and not seeing NBA City next to Hard Rock, just a bunch of construction.
