Would they need to? They just introduced Euron. They didn't hint at Cersi's prophecy until they showed it. The actor playing Euron has hinted that just because you haven't seen it yet doesn't mean he doesn't have it.

It would be very poor story telling if they did.
The dragons have been the "heavy guns" from the start & the first time you see them against her sworn enemy they just happen to have a weapon that they've never mentioned that turns the tide against Daenerys. Very poor story telling

The Seven Kingdoms are in such chaos it looks like Dany could practically walk into the throne room. Euron having the horn would make it harder for her. Still have 13 episodes to fill.

Exactly. They need an elevated villain, because you can't base the next two seasons on the Night King and Cersi. They obviously held Euron back for a reason. He's literally been in just three quick scenes. And I sincerely doubt his strategy for taking over Westeros is just centered on his wang and offering it to Dany. A dragonbinder would not only hurt her invasion but also the upcoming war with the Night King. The show needs more drama not less, and definitely not two seasons of Dany running through Westeros like a knife through warm butter.

Having Dany just walk in and take over is boring and kind of ridiculous.

:agree:100%

Thirteen hours isn't that much to be honest - I hope the series doesn't start really speeding up just to cram plot points in before the end. It needs some spacing to stop it becoming an endless action flick with no character development or exposition.

The Davos scene is what I had been expecting for so long, but I never wanted to see it... he was just as sad and angry as I anticipated he would be. Horrid tragic. Breaks my heart theatrically.
