This wouldn't make sense as a location for Potter phase 3...it's completely disconnected from Diagon and Hogsmeade, and would really take you out of the Wizarding World.

Personally, since it sounds like a NEW IP is being looked at, I'm thinking its another company's property.
Then again, it could be Fast and the Furious.

Yeah. Test Track type ride with multiple cars. That or Radiator is all i can see making sense. Either or would be fine with me.

I can only say I hope so. I felt San Fransisco was time to go.

What is up with this rumor?
LOL

What possible attraction could Fast and Furious be unless it's like Radiator Springs Racers?

F&F is one of the biggest movie franchises of all time. They just keep on making money. It's a natural fit for a thrill ride. Here's hoping...

If this is true, I really hope it doesn't start until KidZone has been taken care of. San Francisco may lack in rides but at least it's easy on the eyes.

San Francisco doesn't make a lot of sense anymore. When Disaster was still Earthquake it made more sense and Beetlejuice makes no sense there at all, but the area does need a minor facelift. It isn't as pressing as KidZone or IOA getting some love, but I'd be okay with it being re-done. I never do anything there anyway except walk through it to get to MIB and Springfield and of course from now on, Diagon Alley. I just hope this land isn't Phase 3.

^^^Me too...I think we've got enough Potter for the resort. I'm all for a minor Phase 3, bringing in the Great Hall Dining Experience, maybe a small family flat ride and other minor "fleshings out" of Hogsmeade/Diagon, but ANOTHER major expansion/land is going to be too much Potter. My humble opinion.

another 3D attraction? Seriously? Fast and Furious seems like a shoe in for an indoor launch coaster simialr to RRRC in DS. Why you would need another 3D movie attraction in a park that already has several is beyond me.

i could've sworn i read a rumor about a launch coaster somewhere on the site just a few weeks ago... anyways this is AWESOME news if you ask me i agree that san fran has become sort of a walk through land at least for me and some one else that mentioned that above.. with that said it is a VERY nice land and truly catches me by surprise that it is going to be completely replaced specially after all the refurb on the brick buildings i would've thought its here to stay permanently for atleast another decade with just improvements being added and a replacement for disaster.

---------

But not it makes sense why Kong didnt over take Disaster..

as for HHN i hope they can continue the event at a premier level and spread through out the park.. i think they are increasingly depending on SS's for it which if you ask me is good for a couple of houses but takes away attention from the rest of the park.

The Hollywood version and the Orlando version may be very different. Just like with whats going on with Kong Orlando is different from Hollywood and same with Revenge of the Mummy.

For some reason I would highly doubt it would be different. Considering the success of the Transformers clone, and Hollywood cloning the Forbidden Journey, I would imagine the rides would be pretty similar.

The ride systems will be different (Hollywood will likely get something like a Kong 360 show with a moving floor base and Orlando will get an actual ride system), but the shows will probably be the same.

If F&F is coming, I want a Test Track/indoor launched coaster experience. I know they don't really have the space for such a thing, but I'm getting sick of all these 3D concepts that Uni keeps proposing and building...build something wild! It's F&F...I want to feel the wind in my face! I had a CRAZY idea for a F&F attraction that would blow the Test Track AND launched coaster concepts out of the water...but I don't think that it would be a feasible ride system or my concept would be affordable. If we're getting ANOTHER 3D attraction, I honestly think I'd rather see Disaster stay.

I feel like if they do decide to put in a F&F ride that is either like test track or a lunched coaster, it should go under the train track to possibly have the main show building where those buildings behind disaster are. They could move office buildings elsewhere but I think they really need to get creative on where they place their rides. If they do that They could potentially have enough space for 2 E-tickets then.

They can't clone it because we don't have a back-lot tour. It would have to be an actual ride system as someone else said. That being said I would love to see a Test track and RSR type system but there is not enough room unless it goes over the lagoon (Unlikely) or under or over the Hogwarts express where the exit to Wardrobe is (Unlikely as well).

Definitely onto something with the indoor launch coaster though!

The Wardrobe building behind disaster includes Bistro building as well. Not sure but looking at the footprint of TT, Radiator Springs that is what I came up with as well . I always though Uni should build a second Team member Parking garage and build Wardrobe close to there. Re-Route the bus drop off and create more space behind disaster for two E Tickets as you said.

A Rockin Roller Coaster or Mummy style ride could definitely fit. Eliminate Ritchers burgers and or Lombards and re-route the walkway on the lagoon and you got something.

Wardrobe and Bistro are 2 different buildings. Wardrobe and the audition/rehearsal hall are the same building. The Bistro also houses the main commissary, where most of the food for the parks is produced. I doubt those would go anywhere.

yeah that seems kind of bizarre. The whole point of FF movies is the speed... you would think something like Test Track would be perfect for it....

Well is a TT type ride even plausible? I think our expectations are too high for something like this

Would SF remain SF or change into another city? Since people here have expressed interest in a Tokyo land, I have been wondering if it would not be a good idea to add more international cities to USF, after all, we already have London ...
