^ I always thought the guy on the boat that picks trash out of the lagoon had the most informed revelations. But hey.

Joking aside I've talked to that guy numerous times and he's a hoot. I hope he's still there, I haven't seen him in forever.

Things however do leak. I wouldn't say Mr. Dippin Dots is accurate, considering he was pretty wrong about HHN 17, but hey, you never know, they might decided to put a big tent over IOA one year, and have an HHN homecoming.

I remember hearing about Transformers coming to Uni from my HHN manager back in 2007 when I worked Carnival of Carnage. Sometimes leaks may just takes a while to come around?

One of the things that is a problem with this attraction is when standing in line, you don't move for 20 minutes until the next show is ready for guests. I think they do an entire show before letting the next viewing in. And it was painfully boring waiting the EXPRESS LINE for crying out loud!

Information spreads around a lot to the employees. Everyone has their own little bit of info. It's all about collecting all the bits. And I am fine with PF going, but if they touch that facade (unless they make it even better) I will be angry. It's always a joy to look at.

I personally would love an indoor boat ride attraction in there but that would be waaay too similar to Journey to Atlantis.

Who cares? It'd be an awesome theme and they wouldn't have the same silly story with Hermes the seahorse.

Honestly the idea of what should become of Lost Continent intrigues me, but I think the area has potential. I could see IOA next major project be a LC spruce up, as I don't think it's wise to retheme the island. Poseidon should either be totally refurbed with a new finale or scrapped for a dark ride (keeping the facade). Mystic fountain can stay imo. Sinbad, however, has got to go. Maybe a stunt show based around the Trojan War? In my dreams, Waterworld would go here. Just makes too much sense to add such an amazing stunt show, but it'll never happen. Please Uni! Bring LC back to its former glory instead of the "passageway to Potter" that it is today!

Umm...what? :inquisitive:

Sinbad isn't being torn down for the station, it will be situated between it and Dragon Challenge. They're building the walls and foundations right now.

As for PF, I love the exterior, so if the show is eventually scrapped I really hope they keep the facade and overall theme.

I agree. LC is beautiful and it deserves to shine again. More than anything, I do not want to lose Mythos Restaurant or Poseidon's facade and vortex, so I definitely want LC to stay. Poseidon needs a 3.0 situation, and I also think a dark ride is the way to go. Hopefully they can also find a way to add another small ride somewhere in LC, to balance out LC with the rest of the Islands.

Agreed. I love The Lost Continent. The theming of both The Lost City and Sinbad's Bazaar are top notch. Mythos is amazing. I would hate, hate, hate to ever lose LC. It really just needs something new (as you've already stated).

Ooh! They could put in a flying carpet themed spinner in front of Poseidon

I understand that a flying carpet would feel too much like a Disney rip-off, (even though it wouldn't be, because by that logic Disney would be the biggest rip-off of them all using existing stories and fables to base their IPs on), but a themed spinner would work. It doesn't require a lot of space and it's family friendly, to keep bridging that gap in the Universal demographics

There's no gap to be bridged. The park already has a spinner.

Same could be said about the 3 spinners at MK (4 if you count Dumbo as two separate ones). But yes, IOA doesn't need another spinner, just something more family friendly.
