Today we are thrilled to share a first glimpse of a project Imagineers have been working on since last year. Splash Mountain – at both Disneyland park in California and Magic Kingdom park in Florida – will soon be completely reimagined. The theme is inspired by an all-time favorite animated Disney film, “The Princess and the Frog.” We pick up this story after the final kiss, and join Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure – featuring...

Wonder how "scary" it is in comparison to Forbidden Journey? I have a severe fear of spiders so I don't think the fear factor and be topped for me personally, ahahaha.

What was the point of this? Someone liked Tiana so that automatically dismisses an opinion?

Like I said, once there’s a spoiler thread I’ll say more but I didn’t personally find it scary. I’m also a lifelong horror fan so I’m a little desensitized. I wonder how the general public will take it.

No, I’m all for the guy’s take. Just want to make sure everyone who crud all over his Tiana’s review has tempered expectations.

Well, as far as I’m aware, this review was told to him - he didn’t ride.

Bit disappointed hearing this because I hoped it would be AE-level scary.

But everyone's saying this is a GOAT-level dark ride regardless.

Any chance for some non-spoiler "general impressions" threads when you add some more?

I want to know what people think of the park once they experience it, but I also want to avoid specific play-by-plays.

am I delulu or are these really expensive. I haven’t bought food in the parks in a minute. But the salmon price especially is oof

Shockingly Disney has some of the most competitive prices within the Orlando theme park market for quick services despite the public perception that they're really bad, even though it is true in the general sense their food is expensive and keeps having price rises. I believe SeaWorld has the worst pricing of all. Though I'm not personally wincing too much at these Dark Universe prices, especially for how well-themed all the food are.

That's always nice to hear! I think a factor on why Monsters is more accommodating is Monsters isn't trying to box you in to force you to look forward like Forbidden Journey does with its seat dividers etc., the more open nature of the vehicles possibly gives them more wiggle room.
