Agreed. Unfortunately 2 Billion doesn't stretch very far in France.

I was really expecting an Avengers E ticket announcement here but maybe they are saving for Paris to announce themselves.

If DCA Avatar comes first that will be 3 water rides one after another!

Idk if it’ll be DCA Avatar or maybe Flight of Passage, which would mix up the attraction variety in the park (or even an original ride), but I feel fairly confident in Avatar coming to WDSP at some point with how popular Avatar seems to be there if you simply go by box office results. The Way of Water broke all sorts of France box office numbers… which were previously held by Avatar.

"Don't worry everyone, we're going to base this ride on the movie you like and not the one we all, at best, tolerate.

I have to assume the only reason why this park has been allowed to limp along for so long in its current state is because its shows are universally engaging and well-produced. This is the Disney Junior show that just closed, and it's probably just one of three shows in the park that's produced to the same level of quality:

Repeat: This is the Disney Jr. Show

A shame too. The production values are far higher than the Disney Junior Dance party shows in the states. Hopefully these closures are temporary.

That's really disappointing to hear about the Disney Junior show closing. I agree, the production values looked fantastic in that video. We’re heading to Paris in December for my daughter’s birthday and using Paris Private Tour Guides to explore, but Disneyland is definitely a highlight for us. Any tips for can’t-miss activities or unique shows while we’re there? Hoping some of these amazing productions will be back by then!

I don't think you're crazy at all, this definitely screams "We couldn't raze or significantly change this area.", hence why it still looks a lot like Studio 1. Definitely nothing like a Sunshine Plaza transformation into Buena Vista Street.

Yes, they really should’ve torn down Studio 1 and replaced it with a canopied street a la Universal Japan & Singapore.

yep, still facades in a box. Only change is you can't see behind it but it just isn't good or even worth for Disney to produce a video for.

The fact that COVID pushed this phase of expansion (including the lagoon) back 3 years is laughable.

Just about everything concerning that park is laughable. What a mistake.

I really do think this will be a good park when all is said and done. I enjoyed it quite a bit on my last visit.

I think if they can add one more land around the lagoon (post-Lion King flume), the park will be pretty respectable.

My guess is the land coming post LK will be a unique Avatar land to DAW. Disney is bullish on the IP now and Iger even said something at one point that alluded to the possibility.
