They should replace this with Hoppers and move Zootopia to somewhere in DHS. Then you could have a show that actually takes place within the belly of the tree again.

Give it 15 years so they can do it with the live-action remake.

I got to do this on my latest trip to Animal Kingdom. There was not much of a wait, so why not?

I don't hate it. I don't love it. It was fine. The young ones were clearly having a good time so I'm clearly not the target demographic. It was a lot more slap-happy, cutsey and light-hearted than ITTBAB...which I guess was the point.

Eh, it's a downgrade from It's Tough to be a Bug, but it's not a Splash to Tiana-level downgrade. I would only hit it up if you've done everything in the park and it has a short wait.

At least you understand as most Disney adults don’t when it’s not something exclusively catered to them.

I’ve noticed most kid oriented attractions gets lots of backlash nowadays from people who are not the specific target demographic.

A couple things: I don't think this is intended to be "just for kids" — very few things at Disney World are. The entire thrust of the project is building attractions the whole family can enjoy together. And even if that was the case, I'm the one paying for the tickets and I've got to experience the attractions too.

Anyway, this show looks painfully bad and lazily scripted. The move it's based on is also pretty thin (it's basically a terrible allegory overlaid onto a bunch of one-note jokes and puns) but this is bad even judged against that standard.

I mean DAK has very few attractions just for kids.

While the script might not be great to you it’s written for the current generation of kids in mind.

You should see the slop they have access to on platforms like YouTube.

Disney is just unfortunately following trends.

Based on what evidence? Something being bad doesn’t mean it was intentionally written for children. That’s the same kind of argument you see defending stuff like the Mario movies. They aren’t written badly because kids like things that suck — they just happen to be written badly and kids are, obviously, much easier to please.

Example: Sindbad at IOA, Could of been a very good show.....if it wasn't so poorly written.....so much corny stuff, it was an embarrassment to adults and kids alike.
