If the times are announced ahead of time it's harder to snag a line because everyone knows. Yesterday when they had random drops I guessed they'd follow a similar schedule as Monday and got on the app about 10 minutes early before noon and kept refreshing every minute like I was addicted to social media (I dragged the ride list down to refresh that page before tapping to the ride screen over and over again). It seemed to become available 1-2 minutes after the :00 hour.

I would also suggest be in Celestial Park or Berk, away from the larger structures that might interfere with cell signal. Usually not a problem but when it's time sensitive like this any lag from being in enclosed/metal structures can make a difference.

It may help to also restart your phone to clear your cache and free up memory to speed things up.

Yes but only up to the area just passed the Floo Network entryway where you enter the atrium of the Ministry. The actual queue is only accessible by people with a ride reservation.

Guys.... I just got the biggest miracle. I was checking the app and somehow a virtual queue time slot popped up for Ministry and I got one!!!!!!

Things change but FYI you can enter the queue up to five minutes before your start time.

100%. I would add it’s probably worth downloading Speedtest and getting an idea of what parts of the park are fastest - you want to focus just as much on the ping as the overall speed. I had blazing fast internet when I lived in Orlando and I think the worst VQ return spots I ever got at Disney was 18 or 19.

Wi-Fi is preferable if they have it (at least it was in-park at Disney)… but for that you’d want to find a location like a merch shop where there’s solid coverage versus open walkways.

All the TMs have been recommending people to not be on the wifi when trying to secure a return time for Ministry lol

Perhaps they are but the only reason this would be an issue is if they installed junk. I could get 100 mbps in Creations Shop.

Were you required to link your party’s tickets to your wallet in the app, or did it ask how many were in your party at the time of booking the VL?

The instructions do tell you to link, but it does not seem to be needed as the person I was with was able to attempt getting a slot as well. Things tend to change day by day but currently it appears anyone in the park can try for spots. Basically it asked how many, then shows time slots (which none ever seemed to have a space for 2.

Those death eaters are insane. The floating elevator props are neat. Not sure how I feel about the face projections. It gives a bit uncanny valley. The minister looks great though.

For those who have ridden, how likely is it that the ride may trigger motion sickness in particularly sensitive individuals? I'll be traveling with a couple of people who have notoriously low physical tolerance for simulators.

It has the same pace (at the very least close to) of Transformers. So if you have motion sickness issues with that ride you'll probably have a hard time. It's not as bad as Forbidden Journey though!

It’s way more than three. There’s been random ones on the 15 every hour and on the 45 every hour too. So odd today. Both set times AND random.
