We usually go for 4-5 nights. We're going for 7 in Nov all because of VB. I'll try to ride everything I can until the back says no mas- which will probably happen by noon the first day. I'm absolutely fine with that and fine with going right back for another full day because I'm as excited for the other stuff as well, and REALLY, REALLY excited that I can walk back to the room if they want to stay.

I'm guessing we're not going to be outliers on this.

This is going to be an absolute, slam dunk, money printing, occupancy raising machine for them. I figured that out shaking my head while looking at our old BC and YC receipts when the only reason we stayed there was because of Stormalong

Oh, yes. Big time revenue producer. High per guest spending no doubt. Seems like everything that is there is to encourage, and make it easy, for people to spend their money, especially on site hotel guests..... How things have changed in a few years. When I first starting staying at Universal on site hotels in 2011 I used to get a lot of surprised looks and comments when I told employees or other guests I was there for 7 to 14 nights. Now I run into people constantly that are doing long stays on site at Universal. And lots and lots of Brits seem to be making Portofino almost a second home.

Oh boy. Only several more hours until the press is going to be in the park! Eek! The only thing I wish for between now and 6 AM is that they add covering to mask the bare steel supports holding up the stairs. Fingers crossed!

Do I see Teebin hiding in the exposed side of the Volcano on a close up shot? (Note: Way back when Teebin first got wind of this, Universal was going to name the park WonderSea, OMG that was a bad name)

From all the Arieal imagery I'm seeing it looks like they got a good 99% of the park done. Perhaps the only thing not open may be the drop slides, as they are still installing steel in that area.

I saw a photo of a table they were handing out rash guards for all of them so id assume some will be riding.
