  • Secret Attraction: I can’t talk about this one yet, but it’ll be like nothing else in the park.
I'd be interested to hear people's rampant, unrealistic speculations on this. Crazier the better please!!

I'd be willing to bet it's the water coaster.

Is this the water coaster? Doesn't show up on the video from today as far as I can tell. Only the resort map:

watercoasterpic.jpg

The water coaster will have an automated lift that takes you up in a raft right?

That does look like the water coaster lift/hill, but I believe what you circled as the ride ending is actually the "Ko’okiri Body Plunge: A racing, 70-degree drop that will plummet 125-feet through the center of Krakatau. It will be the world’s first slide to travel through a pool filled with guests."

Yes, you ride up in the raft on a conveyor belt.

I was just about to post the exact same thing.

The one problem I see with the volcano being so tall (As awesome as it looks) is that you have to get people to the top to ride. Having a water coaster that you board on ground level will solve this. Maybe have it being some kind of record breaker too. Either longest, tallest or fastest. Why have a lift when you can have it launch?

So essentially, will the loading for this be on the ground floor and the conveyor belt will work much like how Wildebeast at Holiday World is?

Wait, for a one day park ticket? My wife went to Legoland recently and paid that price for the actual park (water park not included). My guess is something in the $60-$80 range.

What exactly is the saucer thing? Is this a new proslide attraction, or just another name for something else?

I'm hoping for an upgraded annual pass that will include Volcano Bay or at the very least a multi-day pass for when we stay at the resorts.
