Really can't wait to see this finished, or at least to the point where it really shows everything off.

I sense more excitement for this park than any other theme park areas close to development. Damn, people really seem psyched.

I'm psyched and I only live 4331 miles away as the crow flies. Maybe there is more excitement because it is an entire new park rather than addition to an existing park or maybe its simply because it looks F***** awesome!

Agreed, never been big on water parks, but this looks terrific. Hoping for an inclusion when I renew my pass in May. Fingers crossed for a late June opening when I am out there!

I also have no interest in water parks, VB has me changing my plans for next year to do a split stay just so I can do VB.

I'm from the UK and even I'm not sure if this was a genuine question or not but did make me chuckle regardless. If that is boxed in I hope you are told to lay back or they only let newborns on this ride otherwise I can see a decapitation coming  I have seen the boarding on other areas of slides during construction, it is just protection and occasionally I can see it is probably walked on too.

So I was in Orlando last week and passed this on our way to Universal. Man does it stand out!

I really didn't respect the size until I saw it in person.

This is going to be quite the landmark as you come up the highway to Universal.

It certainly is gonna stand out. Even when I was there 6 months ago, looking forward to seeing progress in a couple of weeks :)

Ok, here is the best I can come up with regarding projected ride capacity: 15,200 per hour. Keep in mind that this includes odd things like the wave pool etc. Make of it what you will.

BTW, is this any good or near reasonable for a water park? Is it good daily capacity? I know nothing about it except, where I got that number was listed next to the numbers for other major water parks... and it slightly outdid all of them.

I don't really know what to make of it.

Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach have around 2.2 million visitors a year, average it out at about 6,000 guests a day, triple it for a busy day and you're talking about an hours wait for every ride if it's balanced out equally.

The logic is obviously flawed but I guess it's something.

I think this is the obvious answer. I think the ride will have great theming all around however.

I don't know what is good but these areas are spread over a large space and not everyone is in the rides/slides/pools so 15 to 20K @79.95 makes for a bunch of cash. Don't think this will be a profit suck anytime soon.

5.5+ mil per year at max capacity. 2.2 seems reasonable for an average. We will see if the timed rides boost numbers.
