With the Florida super wet summer they probably would have been better off if one of the coasters was a high capacity indoor attraction, even an indoor coaster if they're insistent on having so many coasters in the park.

Not having an indoor flying Toothless simulator is a total mishap; in both capacity alleviation and in I WANT TO FLY ON TOOTHLESS WTH !

I'd imagine the per cap spending is through the roof-- between food/bev and merch they must be raking it in even with low attendance numbers.

Methinks Universal is a little simulator-shy right now after all the "they're all simulators!" cries at USF

Sure but like the ONE ride where it would be epic is a flight on dragons. Executed well and it would rival FoP.

Experiencing the score and emotion of the Test Drive sequence from the first How to Train Your Dragon film on the FoP ride system would be unreal.

They're predicting that Epic will open their early days and limit the capacity to half the park's capacity at 17,000 (full capacity 34,000).

This is music to my ears for someone that’s going through first three days the park is open. Fingers crossed this is true.

Would totally capture that magical and emotional feeling that FoP and Avatar produce.

While I agree a flight simulator ride is a no brainer , it’s also the area of the park least needing an expansion. Monsters or Zelda are next. My guess is Zelda first because the merch sales in Nintendo land will drive the decision. Also having link and Zelda already in that gift shop basically proves universal is already thinking ahead.

Or, they're just contractually obligated to represent it as part of the licensing.

Is it represented anywhere in CA or Japan?

I'll be there on Friday for previews, with MOM down, what's the strategy? We're staying on site so we're planning to get there at early entry, should we head towards Donkey Kong to get in line first? We'd like to get as much done as possible in 1 day but our must dos are Stardust, Berk, and Monsters Unchained. Anything else is extra imo, we're here to check out the atmosphere and vibe in a less crowded park while eating some food.
