Has anyone definitively linked the Aventura name to the Orlando property? They are building two hotels as part of the Universal City Evolution Plan in California... the trademark registrar listed on the site would be the same if it was a hotel planned for CA.

It's a definite possibility. If a completely unique experience is created, I could see a franchise of that type of hotel being built on both coasts.

Yep. And to think, 26 months ago they only had 2,600 hotel rooms. Now it's 5,600 plus 1000 more coming soon. Lots of revenue from guests staying on site. Chink a chink a chink. Hotel room, food, drinks, admission and lots of expensive HP merchandise.

With permits already filed, construction will start very soon. Vertical? I predict before anything Star Wars related goes vertical.

The sooner the better, since Brandon tweeted everything is full on property this weekend.

I would expect the grading and prep work to start as soon as Sapphire Falls is complete and the construction lot cleared of stuff

I think it is still a staging area while work is being completed on the convention side of the hotel.
