Not so much an actual deal, but the AP hotel rates the week after Mardi Gras have decreased for the second time in a week. The AP rates came fairly early for March & April. Last week I booked the last few days of Mardi Gras and continued through April 4th. I was just perusing the site today and I saw almost all the hotel AP prices for the week starting March 30/31 dropped again. So I cancelled the two hotels and rebooked. I saved $100 a night at Portofino from last weeks pretty good discount, so I added another night. Some good rates for most of the other hotels too. Worth checking out before the rates jump for Easter week. I guess that post Mardi Gras week bookings are soft since they discounted twice in just a week.

Yep, weird how this happens. Cancelled already booked Stella Nova and CBBR stays during opening Epic week, and then rebooked to get same rooms for about 60% of the price. Hard Rock went up though!

Yep, we're doing a split-split stay x3.

Really just want to stay at Stella to walk to Epic rope drop.

Universal Orlando and WDW have been significantly slower than normal every week since the week after Easter. It'll be interesting to see what Memorial Day week brings. With such high gas prices and airline fees skyrocketing, summer might be softer than original projections. Universal currently has a special ticket deal for all parks included of buy three days, get two days free. They've already lowered the hotel AP rates for most of the summer. I'm wondering if any additional deals might be on the verge of release.

July and August Annual Pass hotel rates just keep dropping. Value hotels often under $100, and even under $90 sometimes, a night. Portofino and Royal Pacific in the low $300's for most non Saturday nights. Best overall summer rates I can recall during the past 15 years, or so.
