Universal just had to create a ground up hotel operations group with Universal Kids Hotel, never operated one done before. Now that those systems are in place, I could see this being a move towards a larger presence in that field.

I hope it’s true as I’d love to see what they could build as a destination resort.

I think there's some confusion here. This might be the previously announced UMusic Hotel, a hotel owned by Universal Music Group, totally unrelated to NBCUniversal. But not 100% sure. Hotels

I was wondering this too, but there's some suggestion it's a UDX joint. We'll see when there's a larger announcement.

I was wondering if Universal was running Universal Kids Hotel themselves or not. I wonder (as @Parkscope Joe alluded to) if this is with that group or them just licensing out their name and someone else is running the show.
