Is the parking lot paved? It really seems like after a coat of paint, this will look ready for primetime (which is good because it's in a month).

I mean it depends. Are you driving? If your not driving then you will have to uber over and would kinda do both these attractions in one day to save on getting an uber over

If you stay on the strip here are some cool free things to do while you are there as well

Highly Recommend the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens and fountains of bellagio shows and inside the The Forum Shops at Caesars they have the the Fall of Atlantis which is cool.

Also Fremont street has some cool free and cheap things to do (is also next to the Mob Museum which is also fun to visit but costs)

The best advice is to stay mid-Strip. No matter what, you'll be hit with hotel fees, so keep that in mind (though with that transparency rule now in effect, it should be much clearer what the price is).

I'd check the Palms. It's off-strip, affordable, and just a few blocks away. Gives you the Vegas experience while not getting caught up in the Strip.

The Palms is actually MY FAVORITE. I love the eats (Tim Ho Wan, Send Noodles, Scotch 80 Prime, Mabels BBQ), the vibe... it even has a movie theater inside it. They often have awesome DJs play at the pool so I've seen sets from Deadmau5 and Kaskade from my pool view room. Super convenient for Ubering too since it's easier to get in and out of than most strip hotels.

I'm staying at The Venetian this time only because we're going to The Sphere for BSB and I wanted something walkable to and from.
