Also looks like this isn't being forced through and thus vulnerable to NIMBY's suing. I do wonder if the early December is the start of the 'made negative process' or perhaps the end? Rob, what do you reckon?

That's testing my very limited parliamentary procedural knowledge, but I'd guess that early December would be the start of the procession in terms of that being the date on which the Statutory Instrument is laid before Parliament (the SI would describe the Special Development Order which the government is approving). But the phrase "start of the process" I think might be a bit misleading, because the day that a 'made negative' Statutory Instrument is tabled it is assumed to have become law, even if there is a almost never used procedure for the Commons or the Lords to annul the government's action. The last time a made negative SI was annulled was in 1979, so I think it's safe for us to assume that when the government tables the SI that will be the succussful conclusion to Universal's planning permission application.

I've been checking fairly often as I think we're in the window when it might be published at any time, but with Mohammad Yasin's update (including the nice photo of him, Johnny McReynolds and Gideon Freeman in Portcullis House) I can ease up on how often I visit those webpages.
