I know there are average guests that like solving the mystery, but has anyone like Youtube Channel/influencers enjoyed it?

That's like the one thing I see many people who have channels saying is the mystery is a little much for an after dark event (not helping the crowds that form around the clues)

I think it’s the crowds that triggers the domino effect. I looked at the congestion, looked at the booklet, and just went “nahhhh”

The booklet was a tad overwhelming at first but we had a long Tram ride there to get it sorted out.. lol. I could see why folks would want to skip it. I like that it's as interactive as you want it to be, though. Like you could just totally skip the book and show up for the photo ops with the Mystery Gang, experience the roaming encounters with the Monsters, take in the normally inaccessible Little Europe sets, grab a snack and get a cute little "whodunnit" post show all without ever even needing to think at all.

We opted to go ahead and partake in solving the mystery but we had Express so we weren't really worried other stuff like waiting in line for Potter, etc. so that certainly helped us feel less stressed about it spending that extra time doing so.

If you're a local, I sort of feel like the Ultimate Fandom Pass is the way to go. It's cheaper than a "after 2pm/Express Pass" combo ticket and you can take your time on multiple nights dedicating yourself to a different experience or two during each without feeling rushed or stressing to get all your timings right.
