Is it just me or is there something off about the location/map graphic on the site? Seems like it’s been flipped 180° and the location is incorrect?

seems like best option is to book the private experience for yourself and 7 guests, otherwise you are pairing up with strangers.

The closest Escape Room to me in Reno, Nevada starts at around $30. Some of the ones in L.A go to $120. $50 seems fair.

Escape room with multiple detailed environments? That's definitely worth the $50.

What? Teaming up with strangers? First I’ve heard of that.

Oh that’s pretty standard in the Chicago Market if you don’t rent the room out yourself. Granted, Covid changed some of that. Also, you take the chance that no one else comes and you’re alone with group.

I'm hoping to be proven wrong but with how sealed off and bolted down everything looks, I'm a tad worried the interactive/puzzle-solving portions will be largely screen-based. Would make it easier to throttle the experience for difficulty, number of players, and throughput as well.

The Conan escape room at USJ was largely screen based but it worked well because it fit the theme and also it was five floors supporting a large number of people at once....I don't think JW or BTTF thematically fit the screen based escape

Playing with strangers is part of the fun IMO

These looks fantastic, nice little extra attraction for them, helps to bolster CityWalk

Honestly, screen-based puzzles would also work for both of these IPs.

Although.. I really hope to see a physical I-Rex at some point in the experience. Not a full-sized animatronic obviously, but even just a claw or nose sticking through a wall.

The screens make sense to me, they are a bit easier on the maintenance front and tend not to work

I know there's potentially a group that was expecting this to be like and HHN house

But some forget that HHN houses are temporary and barely make it through the season as it is lol

This is more of a permanent experience (hopefully) and therefore, more maintenance friendly things is to be expected

I'm sure there's practical stuff

Does anyone know if there are are only two rooms or multiple of each BTTF and JP rooms. Only two rooms seems really low capacity?

From what I recall from the previous attraction, and looking at the photos online- I doubt there's too much room in that building for multiple sets of 8 room escape games. I'd think at most there are 2 BTTF and 2 Jurassic. But being realistic there's probably only 1 of each. One Twitter user said the game can be started every 15 minutes.

Do you mean to say it's only a 15 minute experience? I hope that is not the case... Most escape rooms are an hour long.

Apparently it's a 90 minute experience, but a new group can begin every 15 minutes.

It is also possible that this attraction uses up the space behind Fat Tuesday, which has long been rumored to be an empty shell. Maybe @Alicia knows more?
