That's kind of on you lol. The tweet never mentioned anything about new information about the rides

The video description certainly did. I miss when Jack would script out his videos.

Unsure if this tracks 1:1 with what other people here have heard, but I plan to say my goodbyes to Dino-Rama and Triceratops Spin by November 10th.

I love that Dinoland plush line. They are so well-made and cute. I was lucky enough to collect most of the series, no Mickey or Minnie but I have all of the actual Dinos. I wanna pop up one more time though and nab a Carnival Game coupon for my theme park map binder before they shut down for good!

Looks like I have a little more time than I thought. Surprised to see Dino-Rama last into the new year, but I'll certainly take it.

So if I’m reading correctly (and I might be), this confirms Encanto isn’t a ride correct? Doesn’t seem like much space unless I’m completely misinterpreting.

They already confirmed Encanto is a ride at D23

It's the ride in the massive show building on the right.

I misinterpreted the art quickly, I can see it now! Thank you both.

Very exciting times for DAK!

I've been as in favor of changing Dinosaur to Indy as anyone but... that's a loooot of construction for net +1 ride. And that's if the baseline is no Primeval Whirl.

Dino-Rama was a band-aid because there weren't enough rides - fast forward 20 years and they're swapping the band-aid for some Flex Seal.

While we aren't getting the capacity boost that DAK needs from a numbers perspective, the impact is greater than you think. Indiana Jones will have far greater marketing appeal and draw far more guests. The updated facade and land's layout will also make it far more obvious than it currently is. Dinosaur is very well hidden at the moment and a tall pyramid looming in the distance will make it stand out far more.

It's certainly not enough additional capacity, but it is going to have a major impact.

Yeah, I think there's a definite increase in actual capacity even if it's a minor increase in theoretical capacity.

Is it even a gain if they remove the spinner for a carousel and the double coaster for an indoor ride?

I think an E (or high D)-ticket dark ride will certainly be a gain over what Primeval Whirl offered to the park when it was around.

I also think they still should have found a way to truly add another new ride somewhere in the park as part of this overall project.

Yeah, I get that. But in times past when they did that (Norway > Frozen, GMR > MMRR, LMA > Star Wars, Energy > Guardians), there were serious gains in both ridership and satisfaction scores. All of these swaps aren’t quite as big.

It’s definitely an improvement, but a big enough improvement to warrant the cost instead of just building new? Not sure.
