What are your top 5 favorite coasters? I have gone to four out-of-state parks: Europa Park, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Disneyland, and Disney's California Adventure (except if you count Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Conny Land (Switzerland)), so mine would be...

STEEL:

1. X2 (Six Flags Magic Mountain)
2. SheiKra (Busch Gardens Tampa)
3. Goliath (Six Flags Magic Mountain)
4. Manta (SeaWorld Orlando)/Tatsu (Six Flags Magic Mountain)
5. Blue Fire (Europa Park)

WOODEN (only been on two):

1. Gwazi (Busch Gardens Tampa)
2. Giant Dipper (Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk)

Aghhh! There are too many different types of roller coasters. This is tough. I can't do a top 5.

I suppose my favorite looping steel coaster is Maverick. It's a very intense ride- and quite long, too, considering it stops halfway through and launches you through a 400 foot-long tunnel.

As for steel roller coasters that don't go upside down, my favorite would have to be Magnum XL 200. Sure, Millennium Force has a fantastic first drop, but the rest is pretty "meh"... Magnum, on the other hand, has intense amounts of negative G's. In fact, I'll almost say they are a tad bit too intense... almost...

My favorite wooden roller coaster is definitely Thunderhead. Dollywood is a wonderful little theme park.

And my favorite themed roller coaster is, of course, Revenge of the Mummy.

1- Batman:The Ride(It's got a warm spot in my heart. It's not the best but it's my favorite.)

I like some of the west coast coasters, they are just not my favorite. X was too uncomfortable and boring, Collosus was awful compared to Eagle and Viper in my opinion, Riddler's Revenge was in my top 10 but was pushed off by Manta (Tatsu wasnt built when i was there.) Goliath made me balck out. California Screamin was ok. It's also harder for me to get out to the West coast to ride the rides, seeing as how most of my favorites are from parks near me.
